Always a pleasure to watch your lovely films. This one is no exception. What I really love is see the beautiful relationship between you and Julia blossom. It brings me so much joy 😊
You Brits are so lucky to have genuine castles to visit! America has no castles, a few old coastal fortifications still exist, and replica wood and stone forts here and there, but no one built castles as we had no feudal lords to build them. The brown lawns attest to the drought conditions England is experiencing this year. I'm so lucky to be living where it does rain a bit as it did this morning rather then out west where they are fast running out of water. I know some people prefer the south because they have no winter, but by golly I'd rather endure a snowstorm then a drought! Richard and Julia look so happy together! She is exactly what Richard needs when out walking as she is someone he can bounce ideas and thoughts off of.
I was looking around a church in Shoreham last week and admiring it, came upon the vicar, I said nice church vicar, he said it’s Norman. I said nice church Norman. 😉
Hi Richard and Julia, really loved this video was so interesting and again the drone footage was fantastic! 😃 Seriously guys get these videos moved to your English Couple Channel - they are so relaxing to watch too! 👍
My heart was in my mouth as you were semi running down that hill. But you made it 👍. What a beautiful vlog. Scenery amazing. Drone work excellent. Julia beautiful in her lilac and purple. You too Richard in your shorts. The valley was really peaceful and green. Thank you for a lovely day out.
I went to the Castle once aged 7 with my dad. I thought then that Castles were all like that, until I saw Arundel Castle a while later. Nice to see it again 👍
If you check the English Heritage notice board at the entrance, you will probably see that it says "No Drone Flying Allowed". Only a minor point perhaps, but I think you will find it applies to all EH properties.
@@RichardVobes No need to apologize, or was that tongue in cheek ?, just something you should be aware of. Lots of places ban drone flying, including nature reserves (which is understandable) You do get some very good results though. Keep up the good work.
Really enjoyed this great video ,amazing we can have these over view shots aswell with the drone , both looking beautiful and smart ,a very comical couple ,Thankyou 😃
Lovely shots of Bramber. Regarding the rail way,to up to station road in steyning.the original building, some of it is all there. At one point in the video I said "you could see my house (flat) from there ha
Really nice informative video…good history lesson. I didn’t know where the Norman’s had come from..just thought they were a group of blokes called Norman..😂…on the topic of coffee/tea with cream, when I used to live with my Nan we had Carnation evaporated milk in our tea really nice. 👍🏻
Another well made, fun and interesting video. Thank you Richard and Julia. Well done Richard going along the top of the wall when you aren't keen on heights, you did better than I would!
I really must visit Bramber Castle one day, there is a lot more than I thought there. More fabulous drone shots Richard. Did you notice at one point you can see the outline of walls on the ground, showing up on the parched ground.
for scenic jump on the service 2 from Shoreham High street and maybe walk down from Steyning itself, you can then walk through Bramber and beeding, say get the next service 2 (usually 43 past the hour at The Upper Beeding Rising sun stop towards Shoreham) catching the view once again from upstairs. :-)
Oh this was so interesting seeing the area from above. I often meet my friend here so we can let Ky have a run before we lunch at The Castle Inn down the road. I never use that car park (a) because you have to pay 😲 and (b) because of that awful track. Julia, your hair looks very lovely 'today'
Impressive and this is just the ruins - can only imagine how impressive the site would be in its day. Thanks Richard and Julia for another fantastic video. I love castles and historical sites - it was interesting to have a thorough look around. 😀
Love the information given Guys, I did a Paranormal investigation here a while back, late at night of course, So didn't get the beauty of the place, But it's amazing at any time.

That was very interesting and informative, I haven't been there for many years and the drone footage was great, love seeing my beautiful Sussex in all its glory! Bring back the steam train, I say! You two should be careful, carrying a camera and drone bag whilst sliding down banks etc, easy to break an ankle, or worse... just saying. Take care!
You found the Bailey, the Motte, the Hoople ? That was a nice reminder of my own visit to Bramber Castle. The drone always gives that added aerial view, marvellous. Maybe a visit to Lewes Priory Park sometime ? Thanks Richard, Julia.
It seems to me that all these castles have the same flaw in the design in that any would-be attacker could have easily got in through the Gift Shop. All the same.. each and every one of them
Hmm, big boys and their toys, beats having a proper job though!🤡 your daughter seems jolly nice, is she spoken for?
Pay attention double oh seven 👀
It's his girlfriend not daughter

Plenty of seagull action in that church. i like sitting in those Gardens.
St Nicholas?
Been there a couple of times. Nice video shots. Amazing to think it was on the coast at one time. To be precise it was on a large inlet.
