Season 4 is still my favorite, the whole “Future of Drag” was really on brand and well played during the season. Season 6 is a close 2nd and then Season 10.
just realized that the season 8 teaser is actually paced so weirdly, like the story is not being told smoothly unlike the newer trailers. the season 7 one is actually not that bad but my fave is still season 6, hands down.

No one asked this, but I’m making a list from my favourite to my least favourite 6 (basically every second is iconic) 11 (cool, lasting concept. Well made) 14 (yes the acting is what it is, but the concept is one of the best and really showcases the queens. Jorgeous eating the rulebook and Kerri being iconic??) 4 (so cool for an early season, the only bad thing is that it doesn’t really showcase the queens) 8 (it gives great vibes. Kiki) 13 (cool looks, but it’s just quotes to a pastel background) 10 (I used to love this, it is what it is) 12 (I’m not American and that’s probably why I didn’t really feel anything from this? Idk, but some moments are cute) 5 (cute concept, could’ve been better. It’s not iconic, but some looks are nice) 7 (again, just quotes to a blank wall, and the looks are not as elevated as season 13’s) 9 (can’t remember it after 5 minutes, sorry. Didn’t really give me anything) 2 (meh) 1 (their names, some runways. Really nothing notable) 3 (stage, lights, silhouettes, pose, wrap it up, done.)
i wish that for season 14 they collaborated with a big candy bar company and actually sold the rupaul chocolate bars in stores. would have brought so much more attention to the show! but of course you can only get the rupaul chocolate bars online for fkn $10 a bar -.-
14. Season 2 (so meh) 13. Season 1 (actually told us who the queens were and showed us some runways) 12. Season 3 (higher quality than season 1 trailer, and gave drama!) 11. Season 9 (I love the individual trailers that make me feel like I'm on drugs or something, but it's not it) 10. Season 7 (I like the music more than season 9 and Katya at the end is super funny) 9. Season 13 (cute outfits, amazing quality, boring. But everything else gets it top 10) 8. Season 12 (I'm American so clearly I'll subconsciously like it a lot more, but I liked it. A bit boring set wise, and wtf why did they Heidi do a random deathdrop at the end. Same with Eliott doing a split at the end in seaosn 13... wtf so weird) 7. Season 4 (great concept, great trailer... show off the queens more) 6. Season 5 (personally my favorite theme for outfits but I do see the quality isn't up to standard now) 5. Season 14 (great set, it was interesting, the acting... brought it down though) 4. Season 8 (great set, Ru looked amazing, actually good acting I felt the fantasy, just not as entertaining as top 2) 3. Season 11 (sets were boring but flowed together, music was perfect and so was the giant props... and I love how everything referenced to stuff that would play out in the season like Silky being loud and Ariel being tripped) 2. Season 10 (I love this trailer, the music fits the concept is amazing and it shows off the queens really well) 1. Season 6 (no reason given Just the standard)
I aint gonna lie, when season 9's promo dropped and the glitter and the music with some good bass, turned it for me. I was replaying that promo over and over to see the effects and the music. One of my tops for that alone. Same thing with Season 10. My fav is Season 6. Amazing is such a catchy song, and watching everything go to the beat of the song was AMAZING!
It's amazing how great the season 6 promo still looks when it's really just an empty set, a few minimal props and some creative lighting. It's just such a simple effective concept but it's so well put together that it's undeniably iconic.
S7 was the most authentic and even tho I can't stand that szn, it has one of the most alluring promos because it goes beyond aesthetics. it was very reality show, if u will

Everyone is hating on the season 2 trailer I think it’s amazing. The car and racing themed reference where amazing something that is lost now and most new fans don’t even realise the word play on drag race.

I think they honestly are all totally sickening and I’m gagged you found them 4 seems very ahead of it’s time but I personally prefer the ones that aren’t too high concept and are just simple teasers with cool effects so I prefer season 3 over something like season 5 and season 10 over 6
