This worked like a charm on my Brother MFC-J4420DW. Very clear, concise and complete instructions. My black nozzle is clogged no more.
Awesome!
Amazing video ! Thank you so much ! You saved my MFC-430W. Bought it used and it wasn't able to print anything before I did this cleaning.
Great to hear!
Worked like a champ -- thanks for posting this.
You're welcome!
Hey this totally worked and fixed my print issues. So thanks.
Awesome!
Do you have a method to clean the print head cleaning mechanism? Does it need to be cleaned?
I had a blank pages after not running my MFC-J1205W around 6 months. Today I've just applied 20 times "maintenance -> clean print head cleaning -> strongest (sometimes "normal")" with checking print quality after each cycle and it works. Will see how long 🙂
Nice job you did that perfectly
Thank you!
I bought the stuff for cleaning the print heads, then stumbled on this video before I had a chance to do it. Now, there is no need. Problem solved on the first try.
Fantastic!
hello Thank you for your tutorial. I purchased a product identical to the one you present. I followed the instructions. but there is a problem when I push on the syringe the liquid comes out through the cartridge inlet nozzles. I can see the circulation of the ink very clearly in the pipes but everything comes back to the cartridge access and almost nothing comes out through the heads. Do you think this is normal and what do you think is the solution?
You make it easy, thanks
You’re welcome 😊
Very helpful thank you
You're welcome!
Hey , bought and used your Printhead Cleaning Kit and it worked. However, the only drawback it cost me an additional pack of cartridges of black and colors. Oh well, it's still cheaper than buying another printer and will do for now , but my next purchase will definitely go to the EcoTank line from Epson, it looks like it's the best way to get away from expensive cartridges system and save money. Thank you.
Hi I'm glad that you had a good experience with the best part cleaning kit. Yes it is unfortunate that you have to buy new ink however, you do get the usage out of it so it's not a cost that goes to waste. Thank you for leaving a comment appreciate it.
Good video and clear instructions.
However: do mention that you must not apply to much pressure as some components of the printhead are soft plastic material bags. Using to high pressure may damage the bags.
Great point!
Thanks for sharing Sir
Of course!
if this didn't work at all what would be the other cause? I did all the cleaning as this video shows, but still printing a complete blank page.
too many to consider, it could be the flex cable, ciss hose, purge unit, printhead or worst logic board.
Thanks!
Thank you!
I purchased it but none of the nozzle pieces you provided fit my Bother MFC-J995W. It doesn't have the heads that your printer have. Mine have a tiny hole but then are surrounded by a larger circle on the outside.
Yes, in this case, you may want to just use the silicone tubing already attached to the syringe.
Great video. What happens if you don't replace with new cartridges?
You may have the same problem again.
Do i need to dip the syringe in hot water? to prevent the clogs in the future, how often do i need to print? thank you for the helpful video.
If colors come back without warming the syringe then no need for hot water. print frequently and check ink frequently to prevent this issue again.
Best,
I have a Brother DCP-J4120DW and I cannot move the printer head to collect the flushing fluid. How can I reach or move the print head?
Print a report and unplug the printer while it is actively printing, that will leave the printhead loose and you will be able to move it.
Do you need to flush all colors of ink or can I just flush the one that is problematic?
You can just flush the problematic color.
Hi... will this kit work on the MFC J885DW Printer?
Yes
Brother DCP-T510W Printer
Does the printer have not a mode that's clean every day the heads themself, so that's the ink don't dry out?
the printer goes through a standard process of keeping all the parts moving but many times that does not prevent clogs. The best thing you could do is print frequently.
@@BestPrinters thanks
I have a brother MFC-J985DW printer and my yellow is printing green. Any idea on how to fix it? I have run the cleaner several times with no success.
Run more cleanings.
