Geez, how many different kinds of references can one author work into a single story?! I get that Huss is/was an absolute madman, and Homestuck is still a gargantuan tale, but this is on another level
Honestly I feel like half of those are coincidences. When writing my own sci-fi novel i discovered that I accidentally made references to many different myths and modern works alike. It's just so many works have been made over our species existence, even your fanfic on AO3 might have some references to ancient myths without you even being aware of it.
another fun fact that i'd like to add in regards to Aries is that Circe, the famous enchantress or "Witch" of greek mythology known for turning men into pigs, was the sister of the keeper of the Golden Fleece, which is commonly thought to be located in Colchis, modern day Georgia, a transcontinental country located at the intersection of Eastern Europe and West Asia. Damara Megido, anyone?
Honestly you so need to do a video on the ancestors. I know they're mentioned in the troll's videos and there just isn't much info on them at all but they interest me so much
Time to find the zodiac culler
time??? is that a reference to dave strider??? texas????
Cant believe you said "next month" and nailed it to the _exact_ day.
Not bad considering the 8 month gap previous
the fact aries used to be know as the hired man and aradias ancestor is the handmaid makes perfect sense

and that isn't counting the smaller things or near coincidences missed or not noted.

Its like you need a degree in ancient anthropology in order to understand all the references in Homestuck
It's evident you did a lot of research and i'm always impressed by how many obscur references Andrew Hussie has put in Homestuck.
4:24 that's actually a good choice of image for the... uncomfortable comparison since Heracles' primary weapon was a club
I'm glad your back, don't give up, you put alot of hope with old fans of homestuck so thank you!

I like that outro, maybe you could do a video on the kids in homestuck 2 or a video on problem sleuth
YES NEW FRIDGESTUCK EPISODE
Happy to boost your work with a comment! I love all the little tidbits of information you're able to find to tie all these together.

honestly i can't wait for your next upload within the next few months, give or take a month or so, no rush of course.
Yippy another release!
Seriouysly. How can anyone tu put so many references in a single work? Even more. How can use those references in a way that feels so natural?
pretty much all i took from these videos is that the greeks blatantly plagiarized the babylonians and they just got away with it somehow lol
like the kid that said the joke louder or slightly different i suppose
@@ecogreen123RAAAAH I HATE when that happens
@@brastionskywarrior6951 ikr!
Is it too late to get into homestuck
