I haven't seen this yet. I just started watching Lassie in order a week or two ago. Before that, I watched random episodes with Timmy (until a couple weeks ago, I didn't even know there WAS a Jeff). I didn't think I'd like the episodes with Jeff, but now that I saw the first 3 seasons with him, I got SO used to him, I didn't wanna see him go. But the points, after Timmy and the Martin's left the show, I know there were still another 9 or 10 seasons, but after they left, the show probably started going downhill (and it didn't help that they put it in color either)

Lasssie was there to take care of the horse and she protect the when she gets it basically that her horse but she lets Dale ride her horse
