I think Hisoka was smiling not bc Hinrigh was afraid of him and he liked this honesty. He was smiling bc of Hinrigh answer of preferring the spider. Like that time Hisoka questioned Machi who would win between Chrollo and him and she answered right away Chrollo he smiled. I think Hisoka likes to crush people's faith/be the unfavorite thats why he keeps asking these questions.
I like how Polite and Honest are how a message goes through Hisoka. Let's all remember he cut off the arms of a stranger just because he didn't apologize for bumping him.
06:37 well its pretty common thing for Hunter x hunter, this weird sense of realism.
Author likes to present most of cast members as common people, that deal with rather common problems. (instead of making characters as ninjas, and samurais)
Like with Zepile a vase collector. Normally we would consider a guy like him boring and completely not related to story, but author gave him a large exposition.

I am not sure, if its simply to entertain themselves, or because they have sentimental side. Maybe both.

rinrich was right being really careful with hisoka, and what makes it even impressive actually is that he only knows how strong hisoka is, but not how insane and volatile hisoka really is, if his approach was diffent maybe he or his friends wouldnt ha left that room alive

I'm not in the camp that thinks Henry was calm as hell, but I also don't think he was as scared as you imply. He handled himself very well tbh. Most people, me included would not have dealt with that situation that cleanly.

This could be a stupid theory, but I just have a feeling that illumi zoldyck that we saw is still Hisoka using texture surprise and Hisoka used texture surprise on illumi zoldyck.
Hmmm. It's not that stupid. I never considered Hisoka pretending to be Illumi but I find it odd how at no point in the last two chapters that Hisoka hasn't confirmed that he is indeed Hisoka. So far it's just been everyone saying it must be or it is. His demeanor definitely is different.

Hisoka may have a very high level of blood lust and kill lots of other Nean users but Hisoka will not Kill someone or something not worth killing it's just like his Situation with Crolow when he found out that Crolow couldn't use his Nean to fight him that was a complete let down for him he was 100% disappointed in that so Hisoka may be a blood lusting Monster but he is one with Class and standards and another thing just like how he wouldn't Kill Gon during the Hunter exam and heavens arena he sed he will fight Gon to the Death once Gon made it to his fullest patenchal and I also think Hisoka dasent kill Wemon at all so fare never seen a Manga episode or in the Anime where he has Done so yet.
