    Wonderful! I have not yet had the chance to shape a stone fruit tree. Only apple and some ornamentals mainly haha.
    Smart to only take a bit at a time. Wise to take some of those lower branches with less light and such.
    My general loose rule of thumb is no more than 70% in autumn and not more than 25% at one time in summer, although when it regrow substantially often ya can cut off a few more the next month etc etc.
    That all varies but has been a healthy guideline for more :)
    That tree looks very healthy and growing rapidly!! You're 1st fruit set will probably be pretty substantial

      This thing is so vigorous I am getting ready to do more cuts. This is super fun, I wish I did this with the rest of the trees.
