- The LSU women's National Champion basketball team was welcomed home with a celebration inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center Monday afternoon. Here's the entire production.

Finally my tigers have done it,thanks very much Kim Mulky.I can recount the times I spent watching Samone Augusta and Silvia Fowles take us to four straight final fours with an L behind all of em😭 imagine how that feels,sort of like being a billls fan in the 90's and watching them lose three consecutive Superbowls.This was a run for the ages in women college basketball.Enjoy lsu fans.

As a huge fan of LSU baseball all the way from BC Canada that had a chance to play there until an injury, it's fucking amazing to see how sports and a school can be such a force. We have nothing like that except for JR hockey, nobody gives a shit about college sports here for the most part.
I have to say tho the shade thrown at Clark who quite literally made girls basketball a huge attraction kind of disappointed me.
I get that Clark did it against another team but she did it once not 15 times like Angel did and too then use the race card the minute she got flack for it made it even worse.
People were pissed because she just won the NCAA championship and instead of being a good winner, she was a poor loser, who then made it all about race. All she did was tarnish her school , and her race and brought negativity to such a positive experience.

Don't pay attention to the nonsense. Nobody made a big deal about it (The Hand), except the internet and Cable TV clowns on both sides. No one during the broadcast made a big deal about it, or during the post game/on court interviews. It was a non event/Nothing Burger!
It's sad to see such anger throughout women's college basketball, it really overshadows the talent and puts bitterness in an otherwise sweet game.

Anybody that knows anything about basketball knows that the officiating was a travesty, a championship game should never have 37 fouls in it, let them play very sad the way the game was called its not right, kim mulkey was out on the floor several times yelling & never got a technical, both teams deserved better just a shame
The Referees won that game for LSU and everybody knows it. There is no way if Catlin had been able to play the game without the fouls that Lsu would have had a chance. Lsu coach done said only way to stop Catlin was to "Pray" well they found another, the Referees helping them out. When you have the star play and 2 seniors in foul trouble , sitting on the bench, gives the other team scoring opportunities. Sad that a championship is decided by people other than the players.
L take Angel Reese and Alexis Morris were in foul trouble and didn’t step on the court at all during the 2nd quarter and that was the quarter we won the game in.

Caitlin is not a team player - so when she gets in foul trouble, it’s a very shallow bench. Her own teammates can’t stand her.
@@jeremiahpangburn2240Absolutely! Carson, Johnson and Williams lit it up! They had Morris and reese's backs. They can say all they want about the ref's. There are bad calls made every game. They see what they see and they're only human. You cannot win games on 3 pointers alone. Caitlyn is a great player but nobody made her throw the ball and take a foul. That's on her and she said as much during the press conference. Tough loss for Iowa no doubt, but LSU left it on that court!!! #coachkimrocks
