That was my last lesson. Teacher played an improv and I’m to write it down. 3/4, in A major, struggling with timing as usual. Blue Note app helped me get the melody. Taking pencil to paper has been the biggest chunk of learning in a long time! Still a work in progress but it left me thinking this should be a part of every beginner’s lessons!
