    Dude stop beating yourself up over your English speaking. You speak better than most people where English is their first language. BTW thank you so much for doing this video. Awesome!!!

    Non-American people who speak English know one more language than most Americans do.
    That is a nice cab. Mine is on its way.

    I would like you to take a piece of 6" thick fiberglass insulation material cut the size of the cabinet. Place it inside the cabinet & put the back, back on. Tell me how that improves the sound.

    Great video as always. Quick question....How does this connect into the Bugera V22HD head? Is it a single mono cable or two cables from the speaker to the head?

    Btw 12" Celestion Vintage 30 16 ohm is 125 € at Thomann, and G212 Vintage box is 198 €. That neans that box is cheaper than speakers itself.

    Hi, many thanks for this great video.
    I was gonna buy this cab yesterday but i guess i missed a very important question; can i play this in my home, is it ok for home practice or too loud? Thanks in advance (btw i am gonna use it with joyo zombie 20w)

    So cheap! Better watch out, CITES might put Celestion speakers on the endangered species list ;)

    Question - ask for help. I want 212 speaker box for my VOX combo with one 16 ohm output. Is it possible to connect it with this kind of speaker box? Not in mono mode (impedance too low), that is for sure, but I do not understand what does Stereo mode (2 x 60W at 16 ohm) mean? Does it mean 1 stereo jack output from combo into 2 x mono inputs (Left+Right) of the cabinet, or it means left combo output into left speaker output and right into right? BIG THANX!

    Is the old version of this also 120W? The back panel says 60W but i I think they might mean each speaker?

    Nice review ! would like to know how much playing time those celestions need to "Break In" . to get their full sound potential ,In almost every Review on TH-cam of new guitar amps - boxes this never mentioned . Thnx !

    • @CoryMura
      @CoryMura  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      motorrebell good question!! i turned my amp volume up and left my guitar with a lot of feedback in the room for an hour. i did this 4 times with different feedback frequencies and after that it felt good. but i don't make a science out of it. just play the hell out of it and after some hours it should be good too.
      imagine the speakers to be like a fresh set of strings which needs some stretching until they are good i guess

      Cory Mura can you tell if the grill cover frame is held on by the small screws around the border? Or is the grill cloth attached directly to the baffle that the speakers are mounted on?

  • @SaintKines
    @SaintKines 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Look at it like this, you're getting celestion Vintage 30s for less than the price they cost at guitar center and they're already put in a cab for you. If you hate the cab or have a better one or want to get a better on then just take the v30s out and do whatever you want with the HB cab.

    • @SaintKines
      @SaintKines 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can buy a Zilla, Avatar, Mesa or even a custom empty cab down the road and move the v30s to it.

  • @temeweckis
    @temeweckis 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    How does this compare to the regular Harley Benton G212? Is it worth the extra €90 to buy the Vintage?

    • @CoryMura
      @CoryMura  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +TKWeckroth you get celestion v30s here. the value is umbeatable. its worth the extra cash for sure

    • @SaintKines
      @SaintKines 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're playing rock and or metal then yes, you want the v30s. Almost every rock or metal album you've loved was recorded with guitars played through at least some kind of Celestion speaker and v30s are most common these days. There were other good speakers and not everyone loves v30s but it's worth the price difference. You'll be able to trade the v30s straight across for other speakers if you want. Like he pointed out, the v30s are almost worth the price of the whole cab.

    Thanks for this interesting video Cory. It was interesting to see inside the cab, I am sure nobody thought it was like a fine piece of furniture in there but to my eye it looked clean and well put together. At the end of the day it is the sound that matters (plus reliability of course) and in your demo videos it sounds really nice and at such a cheap price. As for anybody else taking things apart, there is one other you tuber that I know of, tonymckenzie.com and he always takes things, amps, pedals, guitars etc apart each time he buys anything, frankly it makes me cringe sometimes to see him tapping away with his pencil (watch and you will see what I mean!) but it can be informative. Regards from Spain!

    I understand they are china made celestion V30?

    • @CoryMura
      @CoryMura  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jack K regular celestion v30

    • @Qban220
      @Qban220 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So they are made in china. U.K or USA versions have resistance and manufacture address on the back. There is definite difference in tone between them, but doesn't necessary mean they are bad.

    • @ZombieHorror666
      @ZombieHorror666 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jack K It's the same elements used by for example Orange. But yes, China made, as almost everything. It's not bad because It's made in China, all Apple products are made in China, as a comparison.

    • @SaintKines
      @SaintKines 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The anniversary and heritage celestions are all made in China too. Nothing wrong with them.

    • @BloodpactORG
      @BloodpactORG 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It CAN mean that it's bad. Example: AKG after they started making stuff in China. Completely lost all music industry respect overnight, go try a pair of K92 and if you've ever heard AKG's previous headphones you'll instantly know what I mean.
