I was cross examined by a top lawyer and I handled myself because I was telling the truth. Nobody can trick you if you’re telling the truth. He even brought Family law matters etc. I admitted to things I did wrong too. Just don’t lie. If you’re reading this and you know you’re guilty, plead guilty and save your money. I was the victim and my abuser blatantly lied on the stand. It was sick! I know this is your job sir, but I think it’s sick to qualify sa. Wrong is wrong! Most complainants are telling the truth. Nobody willfully puts themselves through 2 years of hell to wait for a trial then be retraumatized. I think you are over representing the facts and giving false hope. Best advice: “ don’t r&pe people”
Exactly I told the whole truth they couldn’t make me look like a liar! These people make me sick defending a real rapist!

Not true. Not true at all. Had a chick try giving me herpes on good terms. Had another chick lie and say I was actively trying to kill her to get me arrested. Had another chick twist the reality of the situation to protect our parents. And so on

Crazy anyone can be imprisoned on merely an accusation with no corroborating evidence. Is there any legal precadent for this?
I can't stress this enough but a massive thank you to you Kruse! for all this amazing help and advice, especially in sexual assault cases, i'm young and i currently have to deal with serious allegations with a ton of inconsistencies and when you know nothing about court, all of this info is super helpful keep doing what you do man you do it best :)

I am so confused and angry at our legal system. Why can't a victim (me) have a lawyer. I am doing this alone and on Oct 24th I go back to court to be cross examined. Your video didn't tell me anything. Women need to be treated so much better than we are. You wouldn't believe the amount of threats and harassment I deal with everyday. Oh I forgot to mention my assulter lives in my building 2 floor up from me. My building is protecting him. Isn't that a kick in the teeth lol. Things have gone from bad to sinkhole in my life. Tell us what to expect. What kind of questions? Since working with the Crown, I have been traumized by the attorney and the VWAP. I'm not joking. I know nothing, they tell me nothing. We need lawyers too, to help us understand and maybe process the trauma faster.
Kruse is a lawyer for the defense, the accused, or the perpetrator. When you report a sexual assault it is a felony which means a crime against both you and the State. It is kind of like a kid telling their mother on big brother and then she handles it regardless of what you think about it. It is out of hands after you report. Most prosecutor offices have “victim advocates” to support and assist victims as the case goes forward. You have the option of having an attorney to answer process questions but my advice is to call a hot line and find a local domestic shelter or the like, and they will give you great advice, support, guidance as the case moves forward. Some kind of counseling may also be useful. Best wishes-
I agree! The rapist has more rights than us victims. These lawyers make me sick defending known rapists! I’m so upset either way the un justice system
You can have an attorney, but your rights aren't at issue during a criminal trial.
Should make a video in regards to victims wanting to retract and/or wanting to create an affidavit of non prosecution with domestic assault/domestic sexual assault cases
What if her boyfriend find out and he takes her to file report . What if she came back after incident and lied on stand she didn’t and your lawyer didn’t get the cell tower location
It makes me sick when you lawyers defend a real rapist !!!
innocent until proven guilty
