God gave me trees so I built a Log Cabin. 3 yrs hard work! Inexpensive debt free MASSIVE Off Grid Log Cabin Build start to finish timelapse. Building with crooked logs is a challenge in every way. Not to mention every single log was Persimmon. They are so dense a 6 inch diameter 8ft long log section can weigh 300lb They make everything difficult, but they cost me nothing and I learned to love them for what they are. It definitely makes my home look unique. They were free because they were going to be bulldozed and burned by the landowner. As long as I cut them and dragged them off by myself I could use them. It's hard to believe that it only took me 9 months of hard work to make it live in ready. Here I've put together a time lapse of 3 years of building, hundreds of hours of footage cut into about a 30 min video. I've done a lot of work to get the cabin to where it is now, and I thought it would be nice to have a video showing everything from start until now. Watching the shorter episodes, gives a completely different understanding of how the building was done. There will be more long form videos on the full build with even more detail coming soon. I lost my beautiful wife in 2021 at the age of 43. I worked my entire adult life in law enforcement. After losing her, I was lost and devastated. I retired from law enforcement briefly. In 2022, I turned back to my faith and started praying to God to give me peace. God led me back to my old profession, only this time I'm serving for the Liberty University PD. I feel as though I'm protecting my community, and this was his will, not mine. In short, God has a plan for us all. If you want peace within your soul, just obey his will. He talks to us all the time, but sadly, most of us don't listen. Stories like this one are a testimony for those who seek his grace.

@williamjohnson9727. I too just retired from last year from law enforcement as cop and jailer. Bad things do happen to Us but faith maintains us close to God. We do not understand what God understands but trusting in his grace will see Us through to the other side, always. It's tough, I know. I had a lot of faith shaking tragedies throughout my adult life, seeing death and human miseries in law enforcement, with personal ones as well. I'm here, still believing and trusting in the One True God, Jesus, who knows what is best for Us all. 😇

Congratulations and proud of you! I had a heat stroke as a welder and had seizures and they gave me Xanax and I got where I needed it same only you can understand bc you’ve been there. And I’m clean off of it 2 years now and found Jesus in last years over a process gradually and have started praying and thanking god daily. Thank god daily! Happy for you and your family! What an amazing story. I’ve stopped having seizures I had all the time and back working and saving to get land. I love your story. Gives even more hope and inspiration that if I keep working and believing I can get where I want to be too! Thanks for sharing!

Your log cabins look great! I was sorry to hear about your back problems. Maybe consider hanging from a chin up bar to decompress your skeletal system, vertebrae and back muscles. I have found it adjusts my bones and stretches out my muscles like a chiropractor. Lots of videos about it on you tube. I realize it will be a life long pursuit. I hang for at least one to three minutes x 3 times per day at a minimum and it does the trick. I have had back issues for many years. But no longer. It is not easy when you first begin doing it, but it gets easier as you go along once you begin relaxing and breathing into it. Happy holidays to you and your great family!

Brother David, you're a great one! May Jehovah bless you bro! I watched 2 of your videos, and up to 13:59 mins of this one and need to make a pause to tell you a couple of things that may help your back. Read all you can about aligning your Atlas, your first vertebrae, C1 with an Atlas Orthogonal or an Upper Cervical Chiropractor. Aligning your Atlas will set the right space for the vertebraes to allow each nerve to allow communication brain-organs organs-brain for better functioning. Yet while you decide to go to them avoid having a surgery so no nerves get cut, and try to do flexions, bending your torso trying to touch your toes with your fingers without bending your knees, go down, don't hurt yourself, just try to go down, and like an inch up, then little harder down but not too fast. Within minutes you'll be able to reach down and you will be basically getting your vertebraes spaces opened or aligned.

Awesome thanks for your story. What did you do or how did you get rid of your back pain. My daughter has severe back pain and some of the things you said she says to me. I can't sleep, I can't sit, stand or walk for short or extended periods of time. They are telling her surgery. She has a newborn and an older daughter plus 3 adopted daughters, she cannot be down for 10 weeks due to surgery. She even got a pain block but it has not helped.
Faith in the Lord is what healed me. I then began to take better care of myself my health fitness I was always active but now I started really treating myself better with the right diet and exercise to build back the muscle I had lost from not exercising and prayed about it constantly. I still have moments of minor pain but nothing like before I can do anything I want now! Glory to God 🙏 I will pray for you and your daughter and her children please read the Bible and have faith
Just read your question on back pain . I have a long story but will try and keep it short . I have had 2 back surgeries about 15 years apart and neither cured the problem . If you ask your doctor he will tell you back surgeries have more than a 90% failure rate . My cure started when I was having severe pain under my ribs on the right side and I had went from 212 pounds down to 139 lbs. . I was drinking a 16 ounce bottle of soda a day , coke to be exact and the pain stopped during the night but would kick back in during the morning hours so I thought the soda may have something to do with it so I stopped drinking it and got rid of the pain . The weight didn't come back but some else I noticed was my hemorrhoid's started getting better and I believe that it reduced the swelling in my bowels and the pressure on the spin and totally cured my back problems . 3 years later my weight is 186 pounds which is my recommended weight for my height of 6' 2'' . I did try other drinks but they all brought back the pain under my ribs so I believe I was having problems with high fructose corn syrup . Hope this helps but if not don't stop searching , the answer is there you just need to find it .

To keep it short here though, as soon as I was done watching and wiping the tears from my eyes, I sent up a prayer to Him to keep you healthy and productive, and to protect you. Especially interesting and wonderful to me was your continual mention of 2 Corinthians 5:17. It has been my favorite verse since I was born again. To hear your message and mentioning the context of that verse, I KNEW that I was supposed to be watching your video tonight. As my wife and I always say: "that's really coincidental", knowing that coincidences are God's hand in our lives.

Dave, please tell the story of the medication that God helped you get off of. I was put on Prednisone 8 years ago mistakenly by doctors, and it's been destroying my life. I'm finding it very difficult to take care of my wife and 3 small children. We have NO family to help us. I need to get off of this medication badly. I tried once, and it almost put me in the hospital. Every doctor has warned me that if I just cut it cold turkey, that I could die. I'm wondering why I came across this video. I'm wondering if the Lord is trying to speak to me. Every time I try and wean off or down on this dangerous medication, I get worse.
Thank you I will pray for you. I will tell it soon in a video but I want you to be healed now. Have you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior and given your life to him? You need to believe the gospel Jesus lived among us as a sinless man and died for our sins he paid the price for all us that believe and follow his teachings he rose from the dead and defeated death which means he holds the promise for all us that are His and we will also live again in heaven for all eternity with Him. He is alive and sits on the throne on the right hand of God and is gathering his sheep his followers and will return on Judgement Day to Judge the wicked and reward the righteous if you believe in him and want to follow him repent of your old ways your old life and ask Jesus to come into your life and take over you …give yourself to him completely. Then be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ (full submersion in water) for the remission of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. After this you are one of His and can pray to him to heal you. I started to pray by saying blessed are you Lord our God King of the Universe then I said to him please Lord forgive me for any sins I have committed today I thank you for my life every breath I take and everything you have blessed me with I know if you will it to heal me of this sleeping problem I know that you can you can heal anyone and everything if you will it. Please Lord I pray to be made whole for my wife my children and not held prisoner to this dangerous medication. I know that if I can sleep on my own I can be healthier and a better servant to you and provider for my family. Lord please use me to bring glory to God. My faith was strong at this moment when I made this prayer because this was the day after He healed my daughter through all night prayer in the hospital room. In the morning she was facing emergency surgery. The sun came up the doctor came in did new X-rays and we were sent home with our 2 year old daughter with a clean bill of health no surgery needed anymore. @@AlaskaWild I see it my friend. Sometimes we go through tribulations and suffering to glorify God. Through our suffering we still find peace jn Christ. He strengthens us to continue seeking righteousness no matter what this is what we are called to do and be a light to others in hopes of them seeing this and seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are not exempt from suffering it must be used for the will of God. Sometimes it’s to bring us to Him sometimes it’s to bring others to Him. Accept it find peace in it pray about it ask for clarity there still might be a way to remove it from you but only until Gods will is done and to bring glory to him. Seek this and it will be given to you. God gives us a lot to be able to have a testimony to bring a message of hope and perseverance to others sometimes it’s not what we think it is or what we want it to be of course but regardless we need to graciously accept it and use it to do His will. This is our purpose on earth. Those that persevere til the end will have eternal life with Him.
Some of the lack of peace you have is still being a slave and in bondage to sin. Shake it off with the help of the Holy Spirit or your stress will only continue to grow. There are things in your life that still have control over you and as a believer nothing of this world should you are to only let in Jesus Christ into your heart. That is your treasure not anything of this world or of the desire of the flesh. This is your torment

Thank you for your story. I can relate to pretty much every part of it. Except I grew up living off grid quite a bit. Then grew up got married and have been literally working myself to being broken since. I'm the only income for the family so I've pushed myself to a point my body is starting to just shut down. I'm in pain anytime I am not working. I deliver food to restaurants so I'm hand off loading 30k-40k lbs of food over the course of a day and a half. So 60-80k lbs a week every week. A typical load on the dolly going into the restaurant is 350-450lbs. And each stop is on average about 6,000lbs of food. Anyway, it's now to where I can't sleep. As soon as I stop working my muscles cramp up triggering nerves all over and it's beyond just painful.
Getting to the point though, my wife and I have decided it's time to just make our dream happen. We have talked about going off grid for years but never just did it. So here in a few months we are taking our first step. Downsizing our living. Cutting out everything that is not absolutely necessary. We hope within a year we will have the property. Then I'll take a summer off and build our cabin. If all goes to plan and it's God's will. We will be moving into our new place in two years. Then the real work and fun can begin.

My relationship with Jesus didn't blossom until I started reading His word every day. People nowadays are out for a quick fix with a tick-tock video, and not into reading, especially the Bible. God's Word is sharper than any two-edged sword, and changes us as we read it, praise the Holy Spirit. May God bless you and your family, as well as your viewers. Praise the Lord for your testimony, brother. I have been in a dark place in my life now for quite a few years, seeking for solutions. I was saved many years ago but the last years have been just like hell. Your testimony both in regards to chosing this off-grid life style as well as finding faith in the Lord is so inspiring and encouraging for me. It melted my heart (I am still weeping) and strenghened my faith in the Lord that He can and will get me out of my troubles. Yep, pain/suffering breaks us open for the Lord to step in. May the Lord take all the glory! What a story! You got healed because your spirit and heart found rest in the Lord. Man is restless until he finds rest in Him. And all other things fall into place. Your reasons for doing this are similar to why I want to do this. I was hoping to eventually get some land and rent my house out to a family member for as next to nothing once the cabin is done. I never was very religious but the way the worlds been going it was almost natural for me to talk to God again. Times are tough but I think in the end it will work out.

Sou cristã já faz alguns anos e nasci em uma família que também é cristã. Porém, no fim do ano de 2022 eu meio que me perdi na fé e fui afastando meu coração do Senhor.
Confesso que abri o seu vídeo esperando ser como qualquer outro de construção de cabanas de madeiras. Aqui no Brasil as casas são mais de alvenaria então, eu acabo assistindo muito vídeos assim (Acho essas cabanas um charme). Mas enquanto assistia, seu testemunho, simplesmente não consegui mais prestar atenção em nada que estava sendo feito no vídeo, a não ser ouvi-lo. Eu, realmente fui pega de surpresa e caí em lágrimas. Pude sentir você transbordar do Senhor a cada palavra, cada frase que você mencionava sobre Ele. E isso me trouxe um sentimento de Saudades do Pai. Do meu amigo Jesus.
Uaau... Como é precioso ouvir isso. Deus é abençoe muito a sua vida. Com certeza você me trouxe a memória as coisas que já vivi com o Senhor. E nesse exato momento estou voltando correndo para os braços dAquele que eu NUNCA deveria ter saído.

He hasn’t given up on you. Read your Bible don’t listen to humans find the truth in our Lords words and in your heart. Find peace in his path for you by understanding the word of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. May God bless you. Ask Jesus to enter your heart and help you have clarity and peace and to help you find truth. The Holy Spirit will help you understand the word of our Lord.
Fantastic work Sir, Dave. You've said a lot. Getting close to a God of you're understanding always chances from time to time. I say I've had a really interesting relationship with mine. Yeah I talk to him, and when I pray. But for me just giving him the will to show me the way, and pray for mostly everyone else, ending the prayer with "in Jesus Name Amen". Even though I've never really understood the Jesus thing. Yeah Yeah I've heard it all going to church when I was younger. But I really didn't understand any of it.. I've always heard just do it, and almost losing my life twice in the last 15 years, Its all I can do to just say here, I hope you're with me God and please show me the way.. Love your house, you and your family have done a great job learning as you go. Believe it or not I felt like you were building an arc. You seemed so calm about everything. Very interesting though how you fell through the floor and so did your son.. "Like Father Like Son" Amen!!!.. And remember, "Mind Over Matter, If It Doesn't Matter, Than Never Mind"

Read the Bible start in the New Testament in book of John. See all of the commands of Jesus our Lord and Savior. Red letters in King James Version. He can give you peace now in your life if you ask him to come into your life right now. The kingdom of heaven is now. And He is the only way to the Father. The only way to heaven. He is the way the truth and the life. He loves you man he’s knocking on the door let him in and be saved. 🙏
@@tribeofdavid8 Thanks, I think I was saved when I ask him for help when I was in the hospital last Oct. from a stroke. It was like my whole left side was gone, and I couldn't walk. Most terrifying thing I've ever experienced. And I cried and I prayed. Was back to work two weeks later. Had a limp, but mostly gone now..

Oh oh, I don’t believe in god, I believe in a higher faith. The church and all that it bought was horrific to my ancestors and is still here generations later. I commend you on your accomplishments, in my opinion you did it because you’re a good man and you know right from wrong. The world needs more people like you who know how to be a good human being

But the evidence out there for God the creator of all is unavoidable. Once you realize you are eternal and hell is the place you are headed for eternity you feverishly seek how to not go there. And there is only one way to avoid hell you must seek Jesus Christ and all that he said to do. Find peace in life and everlasting life for you and your loved ones. This is my purpose now. I pray you seek the evidence and get saved my friend. 🙏
Turn back to the Lord. The Bible warns of a hard heart due to the bad things you experienced with the church. Satan wants you to git bitter and angry, and to harden your heart against the Lord. Do not put your trust in man, even the Bible warns us to never do this. Put your trust in the Lord and call out to Him, while there is still time.
