It was already previously reported, when Mayor Parker was still a mayoral candidate, that she is FOR 76 Place; couple that with her saying that the 76ers staying in Philly is a top-priority, and I think we know how she'll eventually respond to this matter.
Flashback quotes....."The concert venue will revitalize Camden.". "The aquarium will revitalize Camden." "The 76ers practice facility will revitalize Camden." "Philadelphia Union's soccer stadium will revitalize Chester.".
It’s a ploy for the billionaire to get Philly taxpayers to pay for the arena, instead of self funding. Can anyone remember the Wizards or better yet Oakland to LA back to Oakland then to Vegas
The ownership already said that they will self finance so I don’t feel like that’s an issue. It’s more about the resistance from the local community in Center City. I think their best bet is to just build it in Camden.
The moment Philly sports teams leave Philadelphia they will start losing home games. Nobody is scared to go to Nj. There are stories dating back to over 20 years of players from other places saying how they dread coming to Philly to play. That's why Philly can be a mediocre team and beat a better team when they come here. Then sometimes the momentum carries the team to win the away games following their home games.
If they build the stadium in Camden the developers will follow
Just a leverage ploy by the Sixers to get what they want. Although those renders do look pretty good...

Tell em to make a conference finals
Murphy offered a 400 million tax break to come to NJ. Funny, no one in NJ is getting great tax breaks but I guess that’s just for Rich developers.

It’s a dump down there! I feel like Philadelphia is loosing if the sixers leave! This could make downtown look better.
You could make it out of gold and I’d still not support it in Camden
Why are people still wearing masks😂😂
