My grandmother absolutely adored Billy Graham. She once told me a funny story about the very crusade in this video. Apparently, she and my aunt went to this event and noted to themselves that they parked next to a school bus. Well, when they left, there were hundreds of buses. Rest in Peace, Reverend Graham.
I attended the Texas stadium sermon in 1971. Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash were there that night and The Tennessee Two. I went with two other teenagers, Andrew and Pascal Bolton rip we went in a car that had an 8-track player which was the rage in 1971. 8-track cartridges were outselling vinyl records during those years. I don't honestly know if Billy Graham was a man of God or a charlatan but I have a soft spot in my heart for Him even though I am no longer a Christian, please pray to God for me
Dear Russell, salvation, as Billy taught, is whenever you first receive Jesus by asking Him into your heart. I know it seems like it's gone, but it can never be reversed once done, otherwise God would be a liar. He said he'd save you and He has, if you meant it all those years ago. God means what He says and is faithful to do what He said He would. He will never, never lie to you. God richly bless you my friend.
