I’ll never understand how people can waste their valuable time with a band they love by holding a phone up and getting crap footage for over an hour. For the viewer there’s a hope this will be a brilliantly filmed concert… then you realise its shaking cam from one position.

I don't waste any time, I'm just holding the phone in my hand, without even looking at it because in the first row I know the angle is fine even without checking. And I don't bother other people, because I'm keeping it low, at my chest's height. As for the quality, obviously it is what it is and you can leave as soon as you realize you don't like it. But then comes a question: why waste time commenting on a video you don't like, from someone you don't know, to people who don't care. No need to answer, of course, that's a rhetorical question...

@@Andre.D.Keaton No I feel I have to… that’s a reasonable answer. But these types of clips are a cancer taking over. I’ve wanted to see good pro footage and I’ve found nothing but these. Every single time. People might not care but this is my little dent on the issue.

@@latenightlogic well, that's understandable. When I look for gigs online, I also hope to find good quality, though I never expect pro stuff. I used to love bootlegs from the 70s and 80s, so most of nowadays videos are good, in comparison. Your point about the quality is understandable, though, and now that I've changed my phone maybe it'll get better, but my reply was more focused on the issue "wasting time looking at phones", which is not my case ;-)
