Monongalia County was not created until two years after Lord Dunmore's War. The District of West Augusta County (which was separated from Augusta County in 1774) was divided into Ohio, Yohogania and Monongalia at that time. Out of Monongalia would come the counties of Tucker, Randolph, Harrison and Barbour in WV and Washington, Green and Fayette in PA. So it is very likely, although I don't remember of any companies that are identified as from West Augusta, I am sure given that Lord Dunmore marched right through there on his way to Pittsburgh with his army.
I found John skidmore in my tree. I find this fascinating, thank you for sharing.
Visiting Point Pleasant is always fun, between the state park and the town. I have not been there in a while.
Were all the participants from farther south in Virginia? I have Monongalia Co. ancestors and am wondering whether they could have been involved.

Look for tomorrow's video, I dug deeper.
