if you want to get to know the members quickly i suggest watching the youtube get to know bts videos, but if you want a more in depth view of them i suggest watching bts run (on the app vlive) or in the soop 1 and 2 or any of the bon voyage seasons (1-4)
Now you know why ARMY is so protective of them... they are humble, talented, kind hearted young men. They are good people and do good thing. A wonderful role model. Congrats on your journey and welcome to the ARMY!

For seeing them in their natural habitat, In the Soop is probably the best, because they literally just chill there 😂. Run BTS is a little more sturctured, but it still shows their personalities really well. But shows like these often get blocked on YT. In the Soop especially, since it's paid content. Run BTS depends I guess. There are channels that do Run on TH-cam, so that might be possible. A lot of channels do these types of shows on Patreon to be safe.
There are also some funny compilations on YT, but definitely check those with us first, because a lot of them are more for people who have seen the members' content and know the context. Those probably wouldn't be very funny for you.
I would recommend "bts being a mess on vlive" by affectaed. And also (even though it's only 4 memebers), I'm really fond of Grammy Nomination Night - BTS on their official BangtanTV channel. It's from last year and it's Jimin, RM, V and Jungkook chilling on a sofa, watching the Grammy nominations.
He could also watch some Bangtan Bombs which are basically vlogs

Thanks for reacting to BTS. Today BTS is one of South Korea's pride. Recently, BTS were appointed as "special presidential envoy for future generations and culture" by South Korean President Moon Jae-in around first week of September. Each one of them are now legit diplomats and are holding a diplomatic passport. They just gave a speech (their 3rd time) at the United Nations General Assembly last Sept. 2021.
From living in a small apartment, now they live in a huge house where all 7 boys equally owned and share. It is located in Hannam Hill, a high end location in SK. It's like the Beverly Hills in the US. They all have their individual properties but still they all choose to live together for almost 10 years now (including their training day.) Their friendship, bond and brotherhood is authentic. They treat each other as family. They are still the same humble and down to earth boys we all know since they debut. In their show Bon Voyage BTS and In The Soop you can see how humble they are. They still cook for their food (Jin and Suga usually does the cooking) and the rest of the boys would do their fair share in doing other household chores. They are just simple and domesticated when they are at home.
They did address the UN in 2020 as well but had to record their speeches in Korea due to the pandemic. I believe it had to do with their UNICEF partnership which is now in its 4th year. I saw a video about them filming those speeches, probably on their official channel. They contribute a lot to South Korea's economy and have raised awareness of Korean culture around the world. They truly are global ambassadors and ARMYs everywhere were bursting with pride when they accompanied the president, first lady and cultural minister to the UNGA in September. They are outstanding young men.
I think one of the best creators of “moments from bts” rn is the user jinnie eats. Especially the video “BTS are literal soulmates"
Also the “how *member * loves *another member*” series by yoongisadboy is really great! (Like how Jungkook loves Namjoon, or how Jimin loves Taehyung) (They’re not shipping vids by the way 😅😅 just really good analysis of the different duos in bts)
The creators Kookiestaetas and Bunnyswag are also really good at making funny compilation videoes. Their videoes are usually like a collection of funny moments that have happened in content recently released.. but I think those videoes in general are more funny when you have more context 😅
yes!! adding on, i think SugArmyy makes great compilations of the members moments that can help with getting to know them.
Also, their own original content (like Run BTS!) is best for this because it's straight from the source.
@@nootroot5750 , I’m wondering what the policy is for reacting to those compilations that are mentioned here. I agree that those particular ones are very good but I’ve seen on SugArmy’s information page that it says not to copy the videos. I’m not understanding how that works for reactors who want to share them with their viewers and react to them. Does giving credit come into it?
@@pamelajbarber4819 reactions are fine it’s just when people try to take her content and post it as theirs. Examples like putting their watermark on SugArmyy’s videos or telling people that they edited it when they didn’t
There are toooonns of videos of members goofing around. Stuff from them like run bts, in the soop etc but also fanmade compilations are bomb!
You can watch bts being extra af in america. Its kinda old but still cracks me up and is perfect for newbie armys.

You should watch "bts are literal soulmates", it shows you how amazingly close of a bond they have and how affectionate they are with each other!
Yes, we like Bang Si-Hyuk. He’s been a great CEO and you can’t say that for many of the others from different agencies in Korea. His vision has given us this wonderful group. We have so much of them online because it was the only way he could get them known when Big Hit was nearly bankrupt and couldn’t buy its way onto TV shows. He also gave them the tools to solve conflicts within the group. Some other groups suffer from internal disagreements. They poke a little fun at him and now they have been given permission to address him informally, a big deal in Korea. No agency is perfect and they do suffer from agency rules which they wish weren’t there. RM, in his position as leader is there to be the go between between the band and the agency and the public. He’s the fourth oldest but with an IQ of 148 and a high emotional intelligence he is an amazing leader. There are no egos in this group so, Jin, who is the oldest, is happy with this. He plays his part as the big brother and the one who lifts their spirits.
Listen, I love "In the soop" so much, but it's literally the most chill reality show! I don't know if it's a good start for people who are still getting to know them, you may find it "boring"? .. it's very wholesome to watch when you're familiar with their personalities & their group dynamic
I think the best way to start is with "Run BTS" .. it's a really fun variety show! and of course fan made compilation/crack videos
when i was new, i watched In The Soop, i didn't find it boring though... it truly healed me like for the first time, i felt internally calm... like i had rest after a stressful day.... but idk if it's the same for others
All their solo project or unit group either album or single, is free. They created so many free songs and upload it on soundcloud or their official acc on youtube.
You can watch Run BTS. It's their variety show and it has over 150 episodes and you can see the chaotic and funny side of BTS. Every episode is always full of good vibes and you can watch it in V-Live. You can also watch their very first show Rookie King, where you can see the younger BTS. Another one BTS Bon Voyage. It showcased their international travels, what they does during their travels, just being themselves. You can also watch In The Soop, it has 2 seasons it showcased the domestic side of BTS, their typical day of relaxation.
Bon Voyage is particularly good. They have to visit a foreign country, stick to a budget, look after themselves and cope with missions. Run BTS is hilarious.
There are a lot of BTS funny moment compilations and individual member compilations that will give you a better glimpse as to their personalities. It's nice to see them put together and performing but I love just watching their interpersonal dynamics. You can also watch their variety show run bts where they do silly games and competitions or their reality show bon voyage and in the soop where they traveled the world and had like a staycation respectively,
I love that you weren't too surprised by any of this and you got the names right. The shows mentioned are all good for getting to know their personalities but TH-cam is full of crack videos, as we lovingly call them. We're lucky to have so much content musically and otherwise. And as an old person let me just say you are so cute with these reactions and commentary.

You have to realize, before you watch the candid videos, that this is a different culture. You’ll have to put away any machismo you may have. If you do, you will fall for these guys who are so humble and incredibly sweet.
Aww you are seriously in the rabbit hole now you’ve realized how wholesome and genuine the guys are. The are sincere artists, talented, so hard working its incredible. It’s a fandom of caring support and love or tries to be. They inspire and help a lot of people. The more fans learn the more passionate fans become. I think the vid in this … video, the one by Asian Theory and the video by Suga & Spice (who is BTS: the 7 members of Bangtan) are just the go to videos.
People moan saying that they are not up dating and instead to go check out updated versions, but personally I think if someone is new to BTS then it easier to react to the “classic/traditional” into vids. There’s no point over completing it.
Also I bet the majority of people have watch these three when they were new.

Bro there’s thousands of their videos where they are just goofing around, they have shows like Run BTS (they play games), BTS in the soop (they stay in a house together & film their routine), Bon voyage (BTS go on holiday together). You can search ‘BTS try not to laugh’ ‘BTS being chaotic’ anything like that
The Soop is great for getting to know them but it is paid content so it gets blocked. If you want to do paid content you need a Patron account. The Run BTS series and Bon Voyage are good and don’t get blocked. There is also a series made by Army called the Raise of Bangtan which won’t get blocked. You are doing a great job and your BTS journey is so fun! Thank you 💜

There are lots of funny moment video compilations but you wouldn't get most of it couse you didn't watch the whole show. I suggest you start watching run bts which is a variety show started since 2014 and bts play games and try new stuff in it. Believe me it can chang your day in a way that you wouldn't want to finish watching it. You can watch episodes : 83,84,85,92,93,94 for now they're so good

And aside from funny channels there are tik toks too. But be careful about shiping videos. That can be trigger for lot of people lol.

Also, I laughed when you asked if there are videos showing more of their personalities... LOL... Ummm... YES!!! There are thousands. Also, you can watch Run BTS episodes for free either on Vlive or I guess find episodes on TH-cam. It's basically their own variety show where they play games etc... Some episodes are just *classic*. You can also just watch fan-made compilation videos about the group or individual members on TH-cam. Honestly, half the reason to love BTS (besides their music and talent) are how heartwarming, hilarious, and endearing they are. Both individually and as a group. They have been my shot of serotonin since I 'discovered' them.

There is a lot of fan content about BTS just messing around. I haven’t watched any recent ones, so I can’t name any off the top of my head. However, I think KOOKIESTAETAS, Trusfrated Army, Shookga, seokjin myfeels, and Fandoms Unite are a good start. I especially like the Vlive series by Fandoms Unite. The titles of these videos are named “[member] being [blank] on vlive”.
There are some “fan” channels to avoid, though. They are usually very clickbait or steal clips from other fan channels. These tend to be very unfunny as well. The most notable one you should avoid is MisuP.
Also, the only reliable kpop news channel is KPOP Junkee. He does his best to report using facts and not mislead his viewers. If he does report on an issue incorrectly, he will normally delete that video.
