Real Estate IS NOT WEALTH IN CHINA - its prepaid consumption. If RE prices do not go up, Chinese have no extra money for consumption because they already spent it on their house. If prices go down, they need to save more for retirement since the residual get less as prices go down.

Reforms and changes may be painful, but they are essential. It's time to confront rampant corruption and reckless spending head-on. The banking industry has become entangled in a culture of bribery, which has not only compromised ethical standards but also resulted in substantial losses that will take decades to recover. Those who issued billions in loans while pocketing substantial kickbacks must be held accountable. We cannot allow these practices to continue if we hope to restore integrity and stability to any financial system.

Chinese 🇨🇳 property sector, which accounts for 30% of GDP, is crashing.
    - Exports and imports, accounting for 37% GDP, are down.
    - Foreign investment (FDI) is falling over 90%, lowest in 3 decades.
    - Foreign visitors are down 96% compared to the pre-pandemic level in 2019.
    - Consumer prices are experiencing deflation.
    - Youth unemployment hits over 21%, a record.

Part of the existing debt may be written off. They won't be able to export their way out so the tech sector will be the key growth drivers.

Perestroika (meaning "restructuring" in Russian) in the Soviet Union did not work out very well for them.
The U.S. tax system is divided into federal and local taxes. U.S. laws do not allow the federal government to fund local governments unless it is an emergency. The federal government is financing its large budget deficit by printing money, which local governments cannot do. In 2024, 50 of the 75 core cities in the United States are running a budget deficit and heading toward bankruptcy. They have to raise taxes or they won't be able to pay their firefighters, schools, and police. Rich Americans living in these cities (Musk moving from CA to TX) are moving to cities that are not facing bankruptcy. The inflation rate may have been lowered, but prices remain at inflated levels. The U.S. dollar has devalued over 98% from its original value of $35 per ounce.

Opine the World's Most Positive Ratings on PRChina, esp. bestowed upon Chairman Xi Jinping was the highest after Chairman Xi's Keynote Speech (must watch on TH-cam) expressed at the January 2017 Davos Economic Forum, where Chairman Xi extolled the Superiority of the Chinese Communist Party's economic model ...to produce rapid and high economic growth for its Citizens vis-a-vis the slowing growing even weak and declining Western democratic economic system & model. Chairman Xi encouraged Western Countries to learn from Chinese Communist Party !!. Following the Davos Speech .... there was celebration everywhere ..... all positives about PRChina and Chairman Xi Jinping. Presently ...in 2024, what have had changed since ???

The U.S. maintained its embargo on China during the Great Chinese Famine (1959-1961), discouraging other nations from sending food, confident that millions of deaths from starvation would ensure China’s permanent collapse.
Consumers worldwide are now frustrated with the influx of affordable goods from China. The British opium nearly did them in, and surely these tariffs on Chinese products will finish them off for good this time.
