I'm in the service industry and I cannot BELIEVE how cheap the hotel went on the takeout utensils! 😂 Those Togo boxes and utensil set ups are literally the cheapest items at wholesale lol Disney said "luxury who??" 😂😂
I’ve never had room service at Disney World but I have at the Disneyland Hotel and this is the crappiest room service I’ve ever seen. This is what you get when you get delivery from a restaurant.
I’ve stayed at the Animal Kingdom lodge and we had real plates and silverware for room service breakfast. But that was pre Covid. I was assuming that they did the disposable for Covid and never went back lol
Just FYI, with all these hotels that have a covered front area (porte-co·chère) you can park your car there at the entrance, go in and check-in, then move your car to a parking area or there should be a check-in temporary parking area with spaces marked. You don't have to walk back and forth in the heat/rain, etc.when checking in. The covered area is for you to drop off luggage and take care of those things temporarily.
When someone tailgates you closely just wait until he or she is extremely close then jam on the brakes. The insurance settlement will let you travel more. 😊
Summer rolls are Vietnamese and not sushi. They are actually really delicious usually ; but I can see how if you were expecting sushi you’d be disappointed. And most Vietnamese restaurants that serve them definitely don’t charge $22 for them ;).
I love how you give your honest O-PIN-ON of the food. You always have an upbeat attitude, too. Always fun to watch. I think that most of the Disney restaurants on the resort premises don't serve lunch because they assume the guests are in the parks at lunch time

Yes I was just going to say this, location is everything and swan @250 a night go to the beach club/yacht club next doors or the boardwalk you are looking at 500 and up a night because they are luxury disney hotels

Girl....I live in MI and have my whole life and my central AC is set at 70°. Lol! That is cold for me! But I get it. A cold room makes you feel so wonderful under the covers. And you sleep so much better. I sleep with a high powered fan year round....no matter how cold it gets.
I love you Timmy, I am a little disappointed in the Swan or Dolphin. I'm from TX and have only been to Disney 5 times in my life. My family and I have always seen the Dolphin and the Swan as a luxury resort, for rich people. It was stunning to see the lack of fanciness. I'm just being real. Thank you for all you do!

My guess is the reason there's not a walk-in shower is because a lot of people staying at Disney have young children and prefer a bathtub to bathe the kids in.
The Swan and Dolphin for most of the year cater to convention business, most conventions cater lunches, and tourists are generally in the parks during the day, so the restaurants generally provide either breakfast or dinner.

First of all, great video! Was it me or did it seem like there were not many other people around besides at check in. The resort seemed so quiet even in the evening by the water. The best thing about that sushi was the asmr crunch that it gave off when you bit into it. I agree about the bathroom, too tiny! I’m giving your resort outfit a 10! 😊

I love these videos! It's so fun to see all the different aspects of going to a Disney hotel/resort and good or bad it's all so entertaining ...an hour video goes by SO FAST! I am sure others have mentioned this but "Summer Rolls" are not exactly sushi, they always seem to come wrapped in rice paper with veggies like that and often are served with peanut sauce. I've had some good and some bad, but they're not super filling so I hope you had an after dinner snack! lol. Thanks again for all the amazing content and your hard work!
I’m not sure what the whole thing is with resorts and no lunch. I experienced something similar in South Carolina at Folly Beach. Everything in Charleston that isn’t a fast food chain closes for a few hours in the afternoon, so if you want a late lunch, you are just out of luck. Still, love the resort exploration with you! Always so interesting to see places from your viewpoint. Looking forward to Epcot and more!
I kinda wish for Disney videos you did just the restaurants at the resort (especially since room service is so expensive) which we get reminded of every video haha disney puts a lot more effort into the actual places people eat most likely vs a regular hotel

The Fountain and Picabu are two of my favorite “off the beaten path” restaurants. Swan and Dolphin are Marriott properties with a special relationship with Disney.
Timmy, I just love you & your videos to pieces! They always brighten up my day. ☺️ One tip I would tell you about Disney is that some of the best food on property is at the resorts & hotels. But, you aren’t going to get it through room service. You have to go to the restaurants. You really miss out if you don’t try some of them. And they are no more expensive than the cost of the room service at The Dolphin. Love that you are doing Disney reviews. You & Disney were made for each other! ❤️
I went to Disney World when I was 20, so that was back in March 2008 for Spring Break, even Daytona Beach, and Universal Studios. What an experience of a life time.
Your lesson about continuing on and ignoring crap drivers is good for your younger viewers. Too many ppl are in such a rush today I used to work in fort lauderdale and they are indeed horrible down there, but also in Pa, nj, nyc, and nc lol everywhere. Your approach is the best, they can pass you once they get on the high way and get to their destination 5 seconds earlier.

Hey Timmy, that yellow is actually a pickled radish. Daikon. Koreans eat it a lot as a side dish, especially w/ black bean noodles or buldak. It’s like our take on pickle.

My husband and I went to Orlando about ten years ago, and traffic was so bad. I think a lot of it is because there are so many tourists. We were going a little above the speed limit in the rightmost lane, where you are supposed to be unless you are passing. A big 18-wheeler came speeding up behind us and just honnnnnked because we apparently weren't going fast enough. To this day, it baffles me.
Low key annoy my husband because i always accidentally call bath and bodyworks bed bath and beyond. I felt validated that it was easy to confuse when you made the mistake at first too. Also always enjoy your videos when im having a bad day. Your energy is always so positive and funny :)

Swan and Dolphin are Marriott properties with a special relationship with Disney.
Timmy, I just love you & your videos to pieces! They always brighten up my day. ☺️ One tip I would tell you about Disney is that some of the best food on property is at the resorts & hotels. But, you aren’t going to get it through room service. You have to go to the restaurants. You really miss out if you don’t try some of them. And they are no more expensive than the cost of the room service at The Dolphin. Love that you are doing Disney reviews. You & Disney were made for each other! ❤️

Your lesson about continuing on and ignoring crap drivers is good for your younger viewers. Too many ppl are in such a rush today I used to work in fort lauderdale and they are indeed horrible down there, but also in Pa, nj, nyc, and nc lol everywhere. Your approach is the best, they can pass you once they get on the high way and get to their destination 5 seconds earlier.

My husband and I went to Orlando about ten years ago, and traffic was so bad. I think a lot of it is because there are so many tourists. We were going a little above the speed limit in the rightmost lane, where you are supposed to be unless you are passing. A big 18-wheeler came speeding up behind us and just honnnnnked because we apparently weren't going fast enough. To this day, it baffles me.
That is unfortunately typical here and it’s the locals who are in such of a rush most of the time.

Timmy! They misled you with putting summer rolls under "Sushi" They're a Vietnamese dish sort of like a rice paper, unfried spring roll. You NEED to try more oriental or ethnic dishes! "Timmy's Travel tries!" and you try worldwide dishes PLEASE!!🙏🙏
