Basic akaun takde takpe sebab ramai jugak orang yang dari stream lain sambung akaun dekat University. Masuk nanti kita belajar dari basic so insha Allah boleh catch up. Thank you! I actually have no idea what someone has to go through if she or he has no accounting background so i can’t really tell you that. But, trust me everything will be OKAY if you really focus on the class. For me, when i first studied accounting in SMK, i was really unconscious, literally had no idea what i was supposed to do. But somehow, everything will make sense when you go further. 1) If you do not understand something, please ask the lecturer/friends straight away. 2) Trust with what are you doing- especially when answering the question, because there will be so much doubt once you start to overthink. 3) Do not put your final answer (usually the equal amount for both debit/credit side) as the main problem. If you are not able to get both sides balanced, then it is OKAY. What’s more important is you have answered the question with the correct concept and format. 4) Try to understand the concepts and the formats (this part is really important) . Do not just memorise them because sometimes you will get confused. The questions in exams might differ. 5) Whenever the quizzes/test/assessment is approaching, make sure you list down back all the formats and revise them. I think that’s all, can’t really help much with ur situation. Btw, good luck and have fun studying 😄 Do not stress too much.

Hi,👋 do not worry abt that. Walaupun whole syllabus will be fully english, lecturers still akan guna bahasa melayu and simplified english for better understanding. Me personally pun lemah in English but just try your best. PERFECT ENGLISH tak penting since kita bukan belajar TESL or others yg related. Lectures will always be there to help you.Slowly you’ll adapt the situation, do not rush while studying and do not afraid to make mistakes. Good luck with your studies ☺️and have fun.
I’m afraid I can’t because some lecturers will have their own preference for which book should you buy, and some will not ask you to buy. Usually they will tell you during the first week of class whether it is necessary or not to buy a book. Sorry, can’t help you with that.

Haah, ada guna microsoft word banyak untuk buat assignment, excel tu untuk certain subject macam AIS, acctg information system. Ada jugak software tambahan macam microsoft access tapi untuk satu sem je ikut silibus.

Yeah kalau macam tu, you need to really ask urself. Interested tak dengan acc? And other business/econ related punya subjects as sampingan. If tak, i suggest to not further with it. But, if you are really struggle with form 6 sampai tahap stress je. Diploma is another option because when Degree nanti boleh tukar major yang sesuai dengan minat, cuma tulah time-consuming.

What i could suggest are : 1) understand the concept of that particular transactions e.g what happen if the buss sold the inventory on credit and other general concept like ADE (asset,draw,expenses) LER (liability, expenses,revenue) 2) Read A LOT especially the topics that might be asked in subjective/ MCQ (facts/concept/theory) 3) List down/Ingat all the formats especially chapter ii belakang and upcoming FAR160, this one really helps because the way you present the format correctly will eventually help you in getting marks and mudahkan flow nak jawab the questions (SOPL/SOFP,etc) 4) Do past semester punya final test (biasakan dengan bentuk soalan) and once you have completed a few of them, insya Allah nanti masa final exam cara jawab sama je. 5) Set your time. Masa jawab exam, allocate masa untuk setiap soalan and jangan lebih. Move on je ke soalan lain kalau dah time. Do a lot of practices of past semester or just skim through the answer scheme because most of the time the questions will not test you beyond the syllabus (selalunya bentuk soalan setiap semester sama je) , soalan akan test your understanding. So, please faham betul ii basic concepts for that particular topic e.g kenapa dia debit, kenapa dia credit. Jangan hafal part tu, try your best to really understand. Cherish this moment and nanti FAR160 masa sem 2 because sebab dah semester 3 and above, FAR subject is like a whole new world. I think that’s all. I flopped my common test too today, hahahah but don’t worry, we still have our final exam, etc. Good Luck and wishing you the best for the upcoming assessments!
Hai, laptop yang saya tengah guna ni bukan baru : ASUS X454L (5 tahun lepas) just upgrade from HDD to SDD and tambah RAM jadi 6 GB. So far okay cuma tak puas dari segi keypad dia tak smooth, kena pakai mouse. Speaker dia perlahan so kena pakai bluetooth speaker. WebCam dia tak lawa. So, banyak benda nak kena buat. Better beli laptop yang latest in market. Hi, firstly congrats✨. Maths dekat accounting tak perlu genius sangat. Biasa ii je tambah tolak bahagi darab kecuali adalah subject elective masa first year. If ambil diploma insya Allah okay because dia 2 tahun 1/2 so belajar slowly masa first year, nanti dah second year boleh step up the game. Kalau slow learner pun tak apa, still ada banyak masa untuk belajar lagi sampai faham. Tak semua orang kat sini terus faham apa kita belajar so slowly and jangan malas ii banyak, sikit ii je 😂.
Hi, i think okay je sebab i used it too during year 1.Mostly you’ll be using Microsoft words,excel etc. But, there’ll be a subject (uitm 3rd semester ) yang guna software that only available on windows....so yeah, untuk play safe, I think windows based laptop is a better option. Otherwise, u still can use macbook but bila guna software yang tak available just guna library punya computer/friends (once the covid over) because you only need tht software for one or two chapter not throughout ur studies.
