Paul is the reason I did 50+ switch back 180s today until I landed it PERFECT. Thank you for the inspiration! Mastering a trick is so much different than just landed it here and there.
So awesome to see the raw footage of this. I legit just spent like an hour at the park trying to do a line, I got to come home and watch his battle. The respect to give thanks to God for everything, this man knows the truth.
Glad to see you back at it. You sent a motivational Cameo to my son when you were both injured with ACL a few years back. Thanks dude, you're a class act!
A true artist right here. Masterpieces at a time. I truly enjoy everything he does on a skateboard. Make or not. Perfectionists really shows in his passion 🎉
Not a single thing about this boring Paul. I love watching a LEGEND go through the process. Congrats on getting a new one in the bag! Can't wait to see what you put this down on in the streets.
its nice to see this side of Prod, where he's actually doing what we all do and try for a trick over and over saying "next try I got it" and seeing the process rather than his normal superhuman skateboarding abilities and consistency. it for sure makes him more relatable to the average skater who struggles to land tricks consistently
Great trick. Yes Paul. And the best thing about this video is it wasn't edited. I love seeing the progress and the tries and the makes because that's what we see in the parks every day. 😊
Wooh!! I was literally in my room by myself cheering on that last SOLID land!! I would've taken 2 before that, personally. But it just goes to show why Paul has been SO successful in his career as a PRO, that he had to clean that up to be PERFECT. Bravo!! He seemed SO genuinely happy with his accomplishment. This is what life is all about, folks!! Attitude and perspective is SO key to success in anything we want to do in life.
Damn that was cool to watch thanks for sharing with us on the progression and practice of Paul working on something new and him tuning that trick in. No doubt we will see this from him in the streets
That must have felt so good to roll away from... Pretty rare trick to see!! Also amazing to see Paul still learning new stuff at this stage and to see him hyped :) keeping the fire going!!!
It’s amazing seeing the consistency in real time. That first one you landed was all because you’re being consistent in stretching, eating well, skating when you can, and just in life. Congrats!
I enjoyed this whole video, made me feel better about my day tbh. Congrats on owning that trick prod! God bless you man you’ve come a long way since the first life reset vid🙏🏽let’s go🕺🏽
I love videos like this. Keep them coming! They help me get through work. I'm just day dreaming of my next skate session. You 2 are my favorite TH-camrs
the tricks i learn as i get older i find i can become consistent with more than ones from younger that didnt get engrained in me. Its like the process makes me genuinely more aquainted with it. unless its some obscure trick- that can be lost quickly if not attended to.
Love it ! Paul inspired me to make TH-cam videos and I think it’s only fitting because when I was a kid he inspired me so much with skating. His Yeah Right part blew my mind. Thanks for all the inspiration Paul ❤
Greetings Paul, congratulations on your new trick. Speaking from one skater to another, I know how it feels when you first land a new trick. It's just a feeling of pure elation. It doesn't feel real at first even though you just executed the trick. Landing it consistently and clean is the next step. This video was a joy to watch, k grinds is a trick I want to re-learn. Therefore, watching this, inspired me. I want to thank you for that. I want to give a tip if I may. Before you go skating just eat enough to feel content and not to the point where you are full. Otherwise, your body is going to feel heavy and slow. Also, watch your caffeine intake. It's a diuretic. Meaning that your body is going be to loosing water and you will end up going to the bathroom a lot. lastly, for the best source of hydration, in my opinion. Coconut water from and actual coconut. Not that synthetic stuff in a can. That will provide your body with natural electrolytes. Take care of yourself Paul. Shout out to Spanish Mike. Peace.
Greetings Paul, Thanks for the prompt response. I am afraid you tube is the only social media platform I use, or even familiar with for that matter. I just figured out how to load my videos on my channel this past August. Moving forward, I am not sure how else to make contact. Have a great rest of your day and stay hydrated. Peace.
Yo Paul I'd love to see a video on learning to skate switch. Practice approaches and tips and techniques for learning how to move the weak leg specificaly for switch heels and switch flips
I used to pick a day or multiple days of the week where I would only skate switch and nollie no matter what obstacles or terrain I was skating. That's how you do it. Skate. A lot
This just inspired me to learn switch crook half cab flip out, watching the way you set up for this, just adjust for half cab flip instead. Thanks Paul!🙌🏼🙏🏽👏🏼amazing btw!
@@nathanskates98 thank you so much! I appreciate you, just subscribed to you here! Going to be posting on here more as well, and hopefully do a video with that trick now thanks to PRod!🙌🏼
man you are a perfeccionist, getting the trick as immaculate as posible, love your skating, and it's a bless imo to even switch crocked into that nice ledge..greetings
I was landing tricks perfect at age 38 and it HURT. The life of skating catches up to you. Prod is in his prime at 38 and the math doesn't make sense. Avenue trucks help my knees a lot.
Hey Paul I’m really hyped you like the wax I dropped off for you guys the last time I skated this beautiful park with my little broskie Burberry, this video is really great to watch the whole process. keep pushing man and thank you so much for the inspiration to keep pushing and for the chance to skate ur park. Hi Five skate wax
Looks like if you got a touch more speed when the crook slows down you get a foot hang up When you pop for the heel flip. Maybe worth a try you’re killing it bro
you should do a trick request video and just give each trick 3 tries max because we are alot of people 🤣 Include the team or do individiual videos with each one or however you like be creative with it as we all love that i believe. And as my first request i really wanna see a bs smith bigspin!
This is embarrassing me to say this, but idgaf. So i skated from 6th grade til i was probably 18. Last year i learned that i was riding my board backwards my whole life. The only trick i ever learned and could land was a kickflip. During covid i watched tons of skate videos. This past summer i bought a board and started skating on my days off (once every 2 weeks). Just from watching the learning videos and seeing what i was doing wrong, i was able to land a clean kick flip, landed my first ever tre flip, and landed a heel flip. Next i want to learn to actually do some ledge/rail tricks. I think I'm going to order a double nose board today so I have it for next summer. I wish i had somewhere indoors to skate during the winter months since i live in Michigan
After watching quite a few videos so far with this camera man/friend Mike. I can't put my finger on it but his commentary totally kills the vibe of some videos. He also seems to get on Prods nerves as well. I understand they are friends but it feels uncomfortable watching sometimes. Check the skateboard setup video from 2 months ago to see my point. no hate just curious if im the only one who feels that way ✌️
C’mon Paul let’s full cab it now ! That would be (even more) awesome…plus from seeing you try it, I guess it’s doable cause you kinda land with you weight on your nose sometimes
looking at the tiitle and thumbnail pic, pink floyd came to mind, was just thinking "P-Rod learns a new trick, he's got many, so all in all it's just a.....nother brick in de wall."
He’s still got it. Learning new tricks at 38. Just fun and hype with no frustration. Best way to learn a new one.
He is nearly 40. (; Yesterday i also learned sw bs pop shovits. (; Motivation, experience and dedication are the key. RIDE ON!
At no point was this video boring, P. Watching your process is fascinating!
Paul is the reason I did 50+ switch back 180s today until I landed it PERFECT. Thank you for the inspiration! Mastering a trick is so much different than just landed it here and there.
Sw bs 180 is all in the shoulders, took me a while to get them ass well but definitely a fun trick ggs
So awesome to see the raw footage of this. I legit just spent like an hour at the park trying to do a line, I got to come home and watch his battle. The respect to give thanks to God for everything, this man knows the truth.
This is what it's all about. That energy is addictive. Genuinely heartwarming too!
Love this. I felt like I was in the park watching PRod skate. Thanks for sharing this!
THAT’$ THE WAY IT IS! P ROD KNOWS
It’s awesome to see Paul’s confidence come back more and more with every video 😎
Thanks brother, good to see you have fun.

My third time watching this "boring video" very soothing 😊
These videos keep motivating me 🛹
I like the "chill beats for studying and productivity" type of tune that is playing in the background.

Cleanest skater that will ever live
I like that this isn't cut up. I want to see what a pro's battle looks like and compare it to my own trick battles.
