Imperial Palace Museum / 沈阳故宫博物院or Mukden Palace was the former imperial palace of the early Manchu-led Qing dynasty. It was built in 1625 and the first three Qing emperors lived there from 1625 to 1644. If you want to visit something similar to Taj Mahal or in the same category, please visit Beiling (北陵）， which is also in Shenyang. For massive burial sites of emperors including empresses, Xian is the right place to go.
