Growing up, I played the Bass. I knew how to do Vida La Vida, It was simple but difficult for me since I was young. Either way, I'm grateful this is a nice audio and great to listen to after a long week of stress.

@sulkycats Sounds kinda western I'd love a story where they are travelling and stop for the night and strum as they sit around light fire crackles, crickets just strumming with the soft hum in the night on the prairie as they settle around to rest for the night.
something like:
[The scene starts with the sounds of a gentle evening on the prairie - distant crickets, a soft breeze, and the occasional crackle of a fire. The camera focuses on SulkyCats, who gently strums a bass guitar. The light from the fire flickers softly on their face.]
SulkyCats: "We should stop here for the night. We've traveled far, haven't we? The prairie stretches out so vast and endless around us, but right here, by this fire, it feels like we've found a cozy little world of our own."

ive been patiently awaiting the next BASSMR, as i said in the last one i dont think it really needs any story elements, though i dont think it hurts to address the listener to an extent that makes it seem like youre playing "for us" as it lends a little bit of a personal attention vibe which is nice

@@sulkycats I think both options are good, there’s a certain pleasant mood to the first one you get from watching someone do something, like when you are just hanging out with someone idly watching them sketch in silence, im not entirely sure how to describe what that feeling is, but I think the original video did a good job of replicating it as the character wasn’t necessarily playing FOR the listener, but also was perfectly fine with their presence. In this video I think it’d be great for putting on in the background while you draw or read, that’s what I’m suing it for, anyways. I think they are both good, each is just better at different things. I also think if you do another character driven one it’s be interesting to see how it sounds with more noticeable ambient noise, be it from where you are recording from, or added in post to fit a vibe you’re going for. Oh, and I think you should sing more in these as I love the way you sound when you sing softly, and I’ve also been told by people that they like the way I sound when I’m singing softly to myself so I assume it’s a fairly common like? Anyways sorry for the rambling notes lmao I’ve just always appreciate more detailed responses and suggestions when I used to make audios

I love basses, I have 2 for different moods. One is tuned down to Drop B and can get to Drop A and it's for the heavy and impactful stuff (though those tunings are also great for softer melodies and even bluesy stuff). My other is tuned to E Standard and is amazing for just rocking out and vibing. I love them both equally, for the Bass Guitar is truly the superior instrument.
