@@chevyc5659I'd seen Charles Dance before but did not ever even know his name. This role changed that for me and he became one of my favorite actors. I've seen so many of his films now and I relish every performance.
He's got some serious character flaws but he's definitely in my top favorite GoT characters list.
They're ahead of so many mind-blwoing moments.

Really enjoyed this one. They are doing really well, keeping up with all the different houses and following the politics. I'm endlessly glad Babu wasn't sat in on this one. It's been fun and intelligent listening to these two. Bring the rest of the series on!

Love these reactions especially game of thrones. I've seen certain episodes 40-50 times lol from my own watch and going over to a friend's and he watching. Full watch I've done maybe 5-6 times

Let them be reassured, even for Western culture where we are used to seeing nudity in films, there was a lot of it, and for no good reason, in GOT. I'm happy to see that they really like the series and are asking themselves the same questions that we were asking ourselves at the time. Will they be as heartbroken for Ned Stark as I was (I never got over it^^)?
The first 4 seasons were fantastic, the dialogues, the storyline were top notch. Afterwards the flaws began to appear, when the dialogue writers no longer had the support of the books, the worst of course being seasons 7 and 8.
Sarru probably thinks all Westerners were ok with the amount bec in another video he said the director put those scenes bec the audience likes it.

Vikings is fun and all, but only as long you understand that on the scale between fantasy and history - it's closer to fantasy. It's more similar in spirit to all the stories about Robin Hood and King Arthur, than the actual historical facts of those people it's about.

Do you even know how frustrating it is to see how they showed the trip to Uppsala in the first season look like a long treck through mountains and fyords? There are no mountains or fyords near Uppsala.
The show doesn't deserve to even have the word historical in it. It's mostly made up, with some legends thrown into it, correct names and made up drama for the sake of having a good story. It is about as historically correct as the series "Spartacus, blood on sand". Or the movie about Lincoln as vampire hunter.
As far as the villigers go, it seems to get lost in translation if they believe everything they see or not. Everything is fantastic and new to them, so it doesn't matter if they even think Vikings are real. They seemed to try to figure out where Westeros is. But I don't know, it could be the translation into English that makes it seem that way.

I did not find it frustrating the chosen terrain for Uppsala nor I do not get upset about some of the people from different times being placed all together for the sake of the show.
I never thought of it as a 100% historically accurate show. I enjoyed the entertainment. I dont know...maybe they should've put it on a different channel.

Yes! This has been one of my favourite review series you have done. Please don't stop at the end of season 1!
Ach grow up guys, it's just a bit of nakedness! 😛 We came into the world naked after all! Plus unfortunately for you both, much exposition and imortant dialogue takes place around these nude scenes so they are not simply there for nudity's sake alone. It wouldn't be the same show without the scenes, I wouldn't recommend cutting them out as it changes the seedy, gritty tone of the show; as well as meaning some important facts and discussions are missed. Also Raeen should let go of his ideas on what women can and cannot do lol he sounds way more "traditional" than Babu sometimes! Queens could (and did) very much throw huge spanners in the works of successions, often in favour of their children exactly as shown here, even with society in medieval times being far more patriarchal than it is today.
Babu is always supportive to women.
HBO has censored this series.based on the region/country. Some have said it's done in a way that doesn't mess up the storyline. If people get uncomfortable watching something they won't be paying attention to what is being said

Everything they watch is dubbed in their language.
Subtitles wouldn't work well as it's been said a few times by the host, and the guests, that some of them can't even read or write their own name, let alone read subtitles.
When I watched the show in the US as it was released, there were subtitles for the various languages on my TV.
Whenever the Dothrakri speak and if English subtitles show up for them, too, they may have access to the function where the TV can translate with a voiceover. One of my TVs can do that. It also explains the scenery as if I can't see it, but I know that's nothing new to many. I just don't know for sure if they have it.
I would like to suggest another TV show for the guys to watch - and that show is called LOST.
There are less inappropriate scenes as the show goes on. They also are not on screen as long. They put a lot in the early parts to draw people into the show. In season 1 there are 24, in 2 there’s 19, in 3 theres 13, in 4 there’s 13, in 5 there’s 11 and in 6 there’s only 8.

They can blur rather than skip IMHO with the explanation that it’s baiting those who like a certain element eg: sex, violence, war, politics, drama, seeing if they stuck to the book…
@@erinbernstein6843 i dont know anyone that gets happy from the sex scenes ot the violence... Its just a show and if youre from Europe youve been used to these things since the late 70s. And TV has never been a thing that the whole family cant watch together. As soon as a kid passes 12 he can start watching certain things. The Shining i would say wait till 15-16. Some films you just have to know what kind of kid you got.. like dont show a 7 year old Jurassic Park, should be easy to know.

I would LOVE to watch the reaction to the series Expanse. Very little nudity, not gory, but very interesting with all aspects of humanity showcased. I believe Raeen would love the complex plot lines. Also, one of its major characters is of Indian decent and she is amazing! I would love for our reactors to watch a show where characters from India play major roles in shows. Ruby would also love the Expanse.
As another recommendation, please react to Chernobyl (5 or 6 episodes) . Based on real work events.
there was a character from India in a show they recently watched. Moldaver from Fallout is of Indian descent. The woman in the expanse you are thinking is Indian is from Iran

I can understand them being somewhat uncomfortable with the nude scenes, maybe give them a keyboard with the option to skip forward 10 seconds or so- it wont hurt the story
I think it's a "The lady doth protest to much" thing. If a man tells you he doesn't want to see boobies he's almost certainly lying.
it absolutely will hurt the story, If they skipped this one they would miss so much very important littlefinger backstory, many of the nude scenes are there specifically to keep the audience's attention during important exposition dumps, like in Big Short where they had Margot Robbie in a bathtub to keep the audience attention while they explain the fine details of mortgages. If they can get a blurred version sure but 1 of them is loving the nude scenes and the other is peeking through his fingers and they both say they love the show it doesn't seem like much of an issue.

Even though Samu doesn't cover his eyes for those scenes he literally said those scenes should be cut and stop telling the story so the scene can end. So I doubt he's loving the scenes. He just tolerates it better than Raeen. If one is uncomfortable watching those parts they won't pay attention to any dialogue so the scene defeats the purpose

But seriously man, foreigners aren't *aliens*. Human men like human females, it isn't a cultural thing -it's the backbone of human reproduction. Expressing a truth out loud is a different matter and very much where social conditioning comes in, and having a wife who might chew you out if she heard of you enjoying the naked ladies is definitely going to make you feign protests. It's a tale as old as time, right there along with men saying they only read dirty magazines for the articles.

Careful what you wish for, it would increase the workload and it would reduce the output quality by re-rendering the entire episode.
