This was 2008. I found this song recently. So I guess, what happend? Did anyone ever get a real job? Did anyone ever leave that shitty town? Still out shop lifting, for most of yesterday? Did you ever get that PhD?
yes. pretty much all of these things happened. and pat the bunny was doing wingnut back then. grown up but still fucked up. since then he spent a year in rehab, started a new band and shunned all his old music, and bow he is moving on from that even, claiming he lives a normal life and isnt who he was. chris burrows kind of disappeared but he has posted a couple of things. hes grown up as well
Ethan Del Carmen any source on this? I'd love to see something about what Chris is up to these days. He and pat both had a very similar trajectory; early projects full of gleeful self-destruction (Johnny hobo & asking for it) and later on more matured, searching for answers, and analyzing the outcome of the lives they'd thus far created (and sang about) for themselves (Wingnut Dishwashers & Anorexic Olsen Twin). I consider the latter two projects final (and in AOT's case, only) albums to be of the few gems to ever come out of the folk punk genre. I'm rambling on here. But, point is, if you happen to have a link to what Chris has been up to lately, id love to see it. We already know how Pats foray into anarchy and nihilism played out. I'm dying to hear Chris'.
Christopher Smith do u happen to have any links to any of Chris' "grown up" posts you talked about here? I'd love to see something about what Chris is up to these days. I only scrolled down this far to ask the same thing, u guys beat me to it. Btw my friend always says he hung out with Johnny hobo but when I showed him pat it was like total blankness. Should I call him out or let him live his life?
FAQ - Chris & Pat go back (somehow, although they are from opposite sides of the globe) so that's why you see the mash here. Chris got the book, and pat could afford fare. That's just what fuckin friends do for one another and never fucking forget that shit alright?
Was listening to Cranford nix and this was recommended to me. Been listening to nix for almost a decade now. Can't believe I barely found this. Reminds me of the old myspace days. What genre would you classify this aa
I'd rather dip than get a phd? Whats that line? If they dip then we officially have everything in common. Throw in a fat one, whiskey blend preferably.
