The best thing about Brooklyn 99 is that it doesn't vilify Amy for being a nerd. Sure they do point out that she is a little over obsessed with things but it isn't any different from Jake goofiness or Rosa's badass nature or Charles' oddities and Terry's love for yoghurt. She's an unashamed nerd, but she's also an amazing cop and a great person, not a caricature. Sure, B99 is a sitcom, so the behaviour is a little over exaggerated, but it isn't her whole personality, as is the case with most other female nerd characters. She's passionate, badass, acknowledged as pretty and has genuine growth throughout the show, especially with her relationship with Jake, which didn't just make her Jake's girlfriend, but gave her distinct stories and paths of her own.

Ratatouille Who? Apparently if you were talking you must be cheating. I got my test back with a 0 on it. Me, being a straight A student, promptly went to the bathroom and cried. Luckily when I told my dad about it, and was able to provide some witnesses he went down to the school to have a chat with the teacher (in his special response team uniform 🤣). At first she wanted to just give me a 50 but he made her grade it and I ended up getting a 90 something. God bless how intimidating my dad could look.

They have their problems occasionally but overall, they’re just a normal couple which I appreciate and it’s a refreshing change to not have a lot of drama stemming from a relationship haha.
5:03 Lucas knew that parsec was a unit of distance, as they explained in the movies, Han had to go through a huge field of black holes and space storms (even had to evade a giant space monster) to make it through using such a small distance. The issue with her parsec line is that it still makes sense in the way it is used in Star Wars. it just implies that Han took a different route, making the distance shorter, therefore it isn't an inaccuracy.

Another reason I love this show, they don’t make a whole conflict/mess thing out of their relationship like if they were on and off again like a lot of TV relationships are.
