Thank you for discussing the fact that minimalism does not associate with being “cheap.” This is the most common stereotype that I face personally. I’m a strong believer of quality over quantity and wish this aspect would be talked about more when referring to minimalism. Thanks for another great video 😊❤️

Hey Josh I’m so glad that you didn’t make the decision to drive off the bridge. You’ve brought so much to the world. Plus Bex and Ella wouldn’t know the joy of having you in their lives. Much love to you both.

Debt is awful! It is controlling and evil. Glad you powered through it and are able to share your story to help others. ❤

Minimalism is quality, is life, it is the mere fact that we don't need a lot of things to be happy

I now look at the debt as money I could be saving each month and definitely helped me switch to thinking of more minimalist lifelong. Great video about explaining intentional spending.

Thank you for your honesty & the education you’re putting out there. My debt was high enough at one point I couldn’t pay the minimums anymore & knew I was in serious trouble. I was so ashamed of how bad I let it get & was overwhelmed to a similar point. You sharing your story really saves a lot of people! Thank you!

Thank you both for this video and thank you Josh for sharing the bridge story. What is it about bridges that can make us feel like it is the only way out of debt, sadness, depression, etc? There is a bridge here in Spokane ... same thing ... drive it twice a day - to and from work. It is interesting that when I mention the bridge to others, they share the same story - the same struggle. Am so glad you found your way through, and I am thankful I found my way through as well. My best to you both. Lisa

I really appreciated the idea that the need behind the spending impulse is real and valid. I am going to try to remember that not just with purchasing decisions but all of those points where I might trade long term success with short term pleasure. Thank you!

Yes !! Regret and shame stink .But you have to learn how to forgive yourself. In my case anyway I regret a lot. I learned a very hard lesson. But I learned how to forgive myself. As I still give things to charity , you can retrain your brain to live and love the idea one is giving to ppl that really need , especially in this economy.

We push so hard to get the bigger pay day only to buy more stuff we don't need at the expense of lost time with friends and family. Sounds miserable.

That's me 10 or 15 now .I had to let 5 go .But I kept the rest in good standing. The next journey I'm working on is getting my bills paid , so I can keep my credit good for the future. Thank you Josh for talking about this .This happens to men and women .I'm sorry that happened to you Josh .I'm glad you're still here Josh ! This needs to be talked about more !!

We in india have a max limit on credit car. Mine is maximum like 6000$ you cannot use more than that before paying it off. So maximum debt you can have at any point will be 6000$ max. Also only eligible people get to upgrade to this higher limit.

It's funny that he mentioned Bluetooth because I bought my 15 year old car, I put in a DVD/CD/Bluetooth stereo in myself for $200 back in 2017, still using it today.
