Dekho Sakhi (bandish based on Raga Bihag)

"Dekho Sakhi" bandish is based on Raga Bihag. This rendition on guitar is an attempt to bring the essence of the Raga on this instrument. Ankur Prakash is a student of young Sarangi Maestro Suhail Yusuf Khan, who also plays for band Advaita. The rendition tries to capture whatever Suhail has taught him and tries to bring a few interesting taans. Hope this song does justice to the Raga. I hope you will like this song.
This is my second video with Ankur and I tried to capture the mood of the song. With Ankur recording a music video becomes quite an easy task. He takes care of most of the things, and I just focus on the video composition and post processing work.
