The Nash Metropolitan

it,s 1954, Longbridge is turning out 350 Metropolitan,s a week. the first part of this film is a Pathe short, the second part is a Nash dealership film , shown in slideshow format, I had a neighbour who drove one of these back in the mid seventies , it would of been at least 20 years old by then, a lovely little car.

If Austin had been smarter they might have got Nash to provide six cylinder engines for use in their larger models and trucks...the Nash six was a real beauty, and far more powerful and efficient than the BMC C Series.
