The Hogsmeade print is definitely my favorite item in the box - I want to be in that print! Cozily bundled in hat and scarf, walking through the snow, shopping in a cute village... Besides the proportions being off and the bad paint job, I actually do like the rat goblet! I like how they textured the rat's fur, and it looks good from far away 🐀

It's so funny you say that because I tried to convince myself of things I don't think are as good as they could have been that, 'well, it's good from afar?' Ya, you should see Matt's face when I say that. I guess the true sign is if you'd buy it? 😉😉
I'm loving this collab with Gisa! I teared up a bit when I saw the Hogsmeade print. I still wish it was a winter themed box, but at least we got that! I want to pull out my previous prints and see them all together, too! I think the tin is beautiful and the journal inspired by Hermione's journal was clever. I really liked that the inside pages contained constellations instead of just lines. Very fun! The Runes are pretty! Mine were different so it looks like there is some variety going out, and opening ours is a bit of a divination opportunity. The bookmark is fun and pretty, but not that exciting. Least favorites - statue, shirt. Not too bad, but didn't light me up the way some of their other boxes have.
That Hogsmeade print is so pretty! Other than the foiling (as foiling on lettering, generally doesn't make sense to the both of us) I loved everything else about the journal. I liked that about the runes as well, that it was varied. I wasn't thrilled with the statue as well. 🤷🏻♀️
I was so disappointed that there was no shop pin in this box! I know it does not really fit into the theme, but I was looking forward to getting another one! I am excited for the transfiguration item. I have Ron's broken wand coming for Christmas so they will pair nicely together. I am hoping I can somehow fix the paint job though.
Fair point. It's a little confusing when they're including that one. Since the shop pins have now been in bi-monthly and monthly but now not all of them. Awww, that would be a nice pairing!
Awesome video and you nailed it , I figure you would repaint the rat goblet, definitely keep the art work and tea can, I enjoyed this box and really can’t wait to see all the completion of the kettle series . I definitely will be upset if the kettle box have items we did not receive in purchasing all the subscriptions box. Thank you for sharing the art work detailing all the houses I miss that but glad I have all the art work so,perhaps I will frame all of them at a later date .My favorite items besides the art work were rat mug because you know I’m a Weasley lover ha ha 😂, then tea , and then the proclamation sign definitely will be added to my Delores shelf 😊
Thank you, Traci!!! Ya, I just don't think we should have to fix the work done. There are rare situations where I would. I would too. Hopefully, it's just the theme. Though if it is the theme of a box and people didn't get the previous ones with Copper Kettle stuff, then they'd feel incomplete. So hopefully it's done in a way that you won't need the other items to enjoy what's in it. 😃 Absolutely! I plan to do the same when we get the last Copper Kettle item, is show the whole set. 😊🫖☕️ I'd love to see yours framed and up. I think I have an idea where I'd want mine but, like you, just need to find the right frames.
So I waited too long and the box sold out literally before my eyes and I was like Christmas is ruined! But honestly, I think it was for the best because I was not enthused about most of the items in this box. I did like the tea tin and I think it was generous that they gave that much tea. I like fruity teas too but that amount would last me like a year because I barely drink it. The transfiguration statue did make me giggle. I liked the Ravenclaw print too because I am one.

@@LoveLumos Yeah what I found interesting is that Wizarding Trunk will sell individual pieces from previous boxes and Magic Delivered will sell pieces and past boxes as well.
Unless they are planning to put additional runes in future boxes I never understand the point of rune stones in boxes. You need 24 for a set so just a few isn't really doing anything as far as being useful. I might try to touch up that paint job on the cup but I do like it, and I love the proclamations; I'd like to make a whole display "wall" of them. And maybe it's because my shelves are pretty full and I like each shelf I have right now (so not looking to replace any shelf themes or items right now) but I have been really liking the art prints. I prefer the 5x7. The 8x10s are a little too much. But I really like the stone and the common room prints!!

I love tea tins so that’s cute and is a great design. It’s also a good size. Opposite to you, I liked and kept the Cauldron Crate version of Ron’s transfiguration goblet. Just because of the texture. But I did like this version with the only issue being the untidiness of the paint job. I like that it sits on a book. T-shirt is nice. It’s a good colour and I enjoy the design. I would def wear that. I love bookmarks and used to collect them as a child. This metal one is an unusual design and I like it but don’t love it. The declaration is ok and fits the theme but I would rather collect them if they were called proclamations. I understand that they are not allowed to do that but that is why I wouldn’t collect them. I love the Giza Graphics artwork, can’t go wrong with a snowy picture of Hogsmead and I would def display that. As I Ravenclaw, I wish the blues used had been a bit richer and the moon was not a clear shape so that annoyed me a little. I love the series though and would display them as a group. All in all, not my favourite box but some good items. 💜
I kind of agree with Matt, that the tin is one of the best of the lot (though I love the spoons). That was the part I liked about the Cauldron Crate one, was that it was fuzzy. The paint job was just too off for me to keep it. The t-shirt I can actually wear at my muggle job. 😃 I feel the same on the bookmark. I don't generally care for metal bookmarks. It is the generic runes used on a lot of the stuff. I'm mostly bummed that it will now be 7 bookmarks and I don't have a need for 7 of them. 🤷🏼♀️ But that's why I don't love a long series. Gisa Graphics (I double checked that it is an 's' cause girl, that's the second time you had me questioning myself 😂) is divine!!! The shipping to the states is quite a lot, but all in good time I hope to order from her. And I totally get that. The moon also felt place on top instead of in the room.
I'm very curious about the Copper Kettle themed box at the end. I wonder if it will just be a box of all of the items they already put out in the previous boxes, or a box of different items. Also curious if it will be one of the quarterly boxes or sold separately. So many questions!

I think it's a combo of both because ya, he wasn't an animal and had a broken wand. I think, like Matt said, it's another one of Rowling's inconsistencies.
I am suprised that Transfiguration is underrated lesson 😮 The tea box looks fantastic and I think is very practical. That notebook for me- very beatiful symbol and inside, but I am not the fan that "water style", it's destroy whole notebook.
True! I think it's why I didn't love the theme choice, because it is subjective. I don't find that one all that underrated, especially per the books where there's so much build up that transfiguration is one of the harder things to learn (which made it, to me, feel more respected and prominent). I agree! I quite like the tea box! To be fair, the water style (unless you're meaning the inside) is meant to play off of Hermione's notebook in the movies (which has a similar style).
I mean the cover, I must have missed that reference, not my style, but I understand that others might like it and enjoy having a notebook similar to the one in the movie.
I think this is the first where they didn't offer other declaration options (at least it wasn't mentioned in the cheat sheet, and past ones did mention if there were other options). Ya, for me keepers were the shirt, prints, and runes (for the in world feel, on the latter).
I squealed when I opened the Ron cup..much love for that. The rest was kind of meh..but okay. Not a fan of the new bookmark series, I mean how many does one need and if you don't have all the book covers you can really put together
I'm not a fan of the new bookmark series either. Right?! How many bookmarks does one need? I just feel like, when it goes on that long, it just feels like playing it safe instead of trying something new.

The "watery look" is a technique called paper marbling.
