NOTE: As a couple of on people have pointed out already, I accidentally misspoke during the intro on Aaron Rodgers' stats from the 2011 season, where I said that he had 9 interceptions instead of 6. I accidentally read off of the wrong column when looking at his stats, and got the 9 from him throwing a touchdown on 9% of his passes. Apologies for that

Well, this is essentially an more obscure version of Roger Staubach, when a player is drafted but has to wait a few years to actually play(For newbies, Staubach was drafted in the 10th round of the 1964 NFL Draft, but had to wait until 1969 to actually play for the Dallas Cowboys due to Navy commitments).

Napoleon McCallum played for Navy too, but the Navy allowed McCallum to play while he was serving his Naval Commitment.
Navy let David Robinsom out of his commitment, because of his height. He was a 6-4 freshman who grew taller in the Academy.
Made the Staubach situation unfair. Maybe the Navy learned from it.

According to the ESPN Pro Football Encyclopedia, Moses Denson was born July 6, 1944, making him a 26-year-old rookie with the Alouettes, and 30 when he played his first game with the Redskins. He spent time in the military before going to university, thus delaying his football career. Denson wasn't the oldest rookie with the Alouettes that year; George Springate, "The Kicking Cop," was 33 when he joined the team early in the season. Denson's Grey Cup TD pass, the only pass of his pro career, wasn't a trick play as much as a spontaneous play when he was trapped behind the line of scrimmage. For ex-Denver Bronco Ted Alflen, it was the only reception of his 3-game CFL career.
