Yes they lied about the three hours I am having the exact same problem with one of our trucks and the diagnostic I have Tech Tool and it only took me less than 30 minutes to diagnose. I think it is your nox sensor that need to be relearned and dpf reset soot level. Nice to know it can be done without Tech Tool. Nice video thank you.
Thank God for you all making this video... The hell with these shops and high ass prices. A shop in London Ohio West of Columbus tried to charge me $5300 to do this, along with replacing flex pipes, taking doc and dpf apart🙈🙉🙊👨🏿🔧
Hope it helps you. Everything was pretty easy to fix. Shops charges ridiculous prices. So unless it's something we can't fix then definitely we will not let them make off us. We will have more videos if we have other things to fix on the truck or trailer. Thanks for watching.
Actually those can be cleaned.the nozzles inside get clogged.but you absolutely need to replace the 7th injector if the problem has persisted for awhile..then do a Regen and dpf reset.total cost under 300.00
i have EXACTLY the same issues with my D16 engine volvo vnl 630 2016. Replacing these components also thank you it is very helpfull. I am way to tall to do it 6ft 3 and 260lb. Snif paid to do it. HOURRA. EXPLAIN more on the air hose straight cut and how he does it.
It’s easy to do it but you need to do reegen . To do the reegen you need OTR reset tool you can get it from online. You also can use this tool to do force reegen same as dealer + if you changing your Knock sensor you can use this tool 😉
SPN 639 is primary vehicle network. FMI 2 is Data erratic. Means you have a damaged wire, corroded wire, loose connection or faulty sensor that's connected to the primary network. SPN 3241 FMI 2 is Aftertreatment exhaust gas temperature. Check aftertreatment treatment sensors.
Dealer makes money on diagnostics... I went to the dealer so many times just to turn off CEL, and it cost me almost $6k altogether... Then I decided to buy PTT... Now I save $400 each time I turn off CEL on Volvo...
@@bonnyslifevlogs6442 I had that tool too, sometimes it doesn't get deep into the system and won't turn off CEL. So I had to buy an actual dealer diagnostics system for Volvo, it's called PTT ( Premium Tech Tool).
Took us forever to find too. We went to many dealers to find parts. Go to MACK and Freightliner for Volvo parts. Make sure it's the right part before you buy. I noticed Freighliner uses a lot of the same parts with Volvo.
I'm not sure what that is. 7th injector doesn't need to be replaced. Just take it out and clean it. Make sure it's not clogged before putting it back in.
Yes. But using a clean cut fitting will eliminate air leak. If you use the old part of the air line that was already inside of the push connect, usually it will have air leak. Used to be an airplane mechanic. Licensed A&P. That's what we do, so I'm just using the same method.
This driver is my hero,. He's got the best girlfriend or wife on the planet. Can't believe she crawled underneath a volvo truck. 8:02
Great video. Awesome information. Going to change my AHI Module today. Avoid going to those STEALERSHIPS

If you please tell me how you all popped out the 7th injector line? I'm having hard time removing the old nipple off the line.

Thank you for video. Where did you find aftermarket part? What dealer?
Yes. Dealer had aftermarket products. Right now most of their products are aftermarket because they can't get OEM shipments.
@@bonnyslifevlogs6442 my dealer doesn’t have the aftermarket part either. Which dealer did you find the aftermarket part at?

First i want to thank you for the video , did you guys reset the ECM after replacing it ?
Hi. You're welcome. We did not reset the ECM. Just had to do a full regen.

How often we suppose to change air dryer filter
Many change every 6-8 months. We like to change it every 4-6 months. I know some people changes it once a yr.

Humm. Did you end up finding out what you had to fix?
im having a code on my volvo . the code is p269800. can anyone help what is for?
Exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector code. Need to change 7th injector or AHI Module or both.
Some people are saying that if i change that ahi and 7th injector i need to reset the ahd adaptive factor. No idea what that is lol
I'm not sure what that is. 7th injector doesn't need to be replaced. Just take it out and clean it. Make sure it's not clogged before putting it back in.
What was the issue with truck
Check engine light on. Truck wouldn't do regen.
@bonnyslifevlogs6442 can this cause the truck to go into limp mode?
Volvo's after treatment systems make Volvo's never ending money pits.

Btw if you have eld your office can do engine diagnostics for nothing 😀
I had the same code today .. drove with it for 300 miles and it’s went off by itself .. weird ..
It did that to us too a few times before we had to change it.

Yes! That's why buy parts and do everything yourself if you can.
