I'm a proud hillbilly of the hill of America. I have tears in my eyes that people in this world love my peoples music so much that they play it themselves. I'm proud to share my culture with world. Enjoy my cousins from across the pond.
It’s awesome to see, even though I’m a Texan living in California, the sounds of Appalachian will always live in my heart. Unfortunately country culture is dying here in CA. It’s so unbelievably nice to see Englishman enjoying American music, I’d like to see some Tony Rice covers out of these guys!
@@Pack_leader1989 the parent music is Celtic folk music. In the American hills this music turned into mountain music were the fiddle was the main instrument. This then morphed into bluegrass were the banjo took lead. Regardless of its roots. Hillbilly music became its own thing.
What you need to remember is where this music came from in the first place, and, it wasn’t America .. it belongs to the Scot’s and the Irish, who took it to the states
Met these guys playing at the Club Tent at Cambridge Folk Festival last night ! Top quality music and really nice people ! Photos on the way this week guys . All best , Dave
