Those who are complaining about the amount oil used haven’t yet figured out the quantity of meat used in ratio of oil. 8kg of meat in 2 liter oil (4:1 = meat to oil). Based on this ratio 1 kg meat will require only 1/4 liter oil. Try making korma with minimal amount oil and guaranteed that dish will not be the same. You factor in ginger, garlic and curd that needs to be cooked in oil. So the overall ratio of oil used in the dish is quite practical and should be not too concerning.
