How easy is the transition from documentation of becoming a permanent resident because as far can see as a foreigner when comes to owning private property is very limited I learned that from Rwanda many other thing like how much USD dollars you will need on a monthly basis I no it all depends on your life style but talking about a retire person roughly on USD budget around $3000 to $4000 a month want to no is that affordable enough for someone to survive on or look elsewhere specifically mortgaged or pay rent or just buying straight up cash but as you no can't put all your eggs in one basket

The water & sewerage services companies have been overwhelmed by the high population that has inhabited those high rise apartments.
Nairobi County Govt should act ASAP.

Kilimani used to be rich neighborhood because high rise buildings were not allowed to be constructed there. Only villas were allowed. Like those in Tende Drive Lavington. Kilimani is turning to be like Pipeline area. Highrise buildings.

Highrise doesn't have to mean lowlife! Those Kilimani highrises don't come cheap and they're much more valuable than the old single unit bungalow.
The proximity of Kilimani to nearly every nerve of Nairobi dictates that multi-purpose and multi-dwelling highrises are inevitable. What the local govt should do is to upgrade public facilities/utilities to match the growth.

@@sirprestige8803 people like these call Kilimani Pipeline because they cannot afford it. Kilimani is very desirable because of the quality of amenities around it, nowhere else in Nairobi has such great proximity to the 2 main business districts of westlands and Upperhill plus access to international schools, hospitals, shopping facilities... Kilimani is gonna be even more expensive in the future.
