I LOVE this movie. It's the closed thing to the game that they put out. It has that creepy mystery kinda athmosphere like in the games, they did a great job with that. From the soundtrack at the beginning to the setting in the hive and the characters as well. Like that black group leader has like 10 minutes of screen time but they managed to make him likeable and his death is a blow. Resident Evil Afterlife movie is good too but the first one is the best!

And it's weird to learn about the laser scene, when the captain being shreded into pieces, and that it was all done for real with little pieces of cubes, because in the movie it really seem like a poorly done CGI animation.
Watching back this movie in 2023 you Guy's did an awesome job with everything, a few critique here and there but the greatness out weighs the bad 1Mil - 1. Love the soundtrack in the laser room , and the final figth on the train . I guess this is going to be my new ring tone .

Why wasn't any of this on any of the home media? Like, why didn't they put this on the recent 4K release?
The DVD had a lot of bonus features, I'm not sure about the 4k Bluray though.
