Tim: you are one of my favorite people of all time, and I've only recently started watching your videos. A lot of people can play a song on the guitar; and a lot of people can make a simple tutorial or provide a tab: but the fact that you are as gifted and dedicated as you are to learning new and challenging songs--and the fact that, no matter the tutorial, you take NO shortcuts and explain EVERY SINGLE NOTE as though the student has never picked up a guitar before--it's all still incredible to me, whenever I see you've made a new video. I love your tutorials, your playing, and all the hard work you've put into these tutorials: it's a body of work that I hope you take constant pride in. From Chet's Sandman to Tommy's Classical Gas to now Richard Smith's Entertainer to whatever that Bohemian Rhapsody is: all of your tutorials are something to study and take seriously. Congratulations on 100 tutorials, and please, PLEASE: remain consistent, keep doing what you're doing, and don't change. Your tutorials are the gold-standard, and I can't even think of what you could do to improve at this point: Love you, Tim! PS: Please teach us Charlie Hosoda's version of Chet's Levee Walking :)
Come at the strings less directly, and more angularly. Pick from your thumb and less from your hand. Muting helps. All these will lighten a brash attack.

Wow Tim. Great job keeping all those parts humming along and those little pops popping with such an effortless smooth melody. Well done!

The thumb is always too loud when most people play with a thumbpick. I don’t know how Tommy does it. Pure genius
Over 50 years of guitar playing, that's how
@@DC180 Ahem, over 60 years of playing😉
