I fostered a dog that was uncontrollable when he came to me. He just needed to know unconditional love. 10 years later he’s my best friend and love of my life! Yes, I kept him 🤣 I couldn’t let him feel like I didn’t love him. He and my cat are best friends too. They do everything together. He still doesn’t trust many people but I love him just the way he is. He’s great with my kids!

Rescue dogs are always SO grateful! Its like they realize they have been saved, and know you are the one who did it! We have a Great Pyrenees/Lab cross that we rescued as an abused and neglected puppy, but she is SO loving of everyone and everything! Even tho' she weighs 100 lbs. she still loves to be cuddled and on someone's lap, if she can! Please rescue and adopt! They are SO worth it!!

With dodgy legs, I'm not suitable to adopt also sadly I can not afford long term vet bills and food. This video bought me to tears, these dogs bring so much love, much needed today, imo. I admire those that give them a chance of life. 🇬🇧👵❤🙏

I'm in my senior years now and always had 3 furry family members at any one time. Over the years i have welcomed many into my life.
and all have eventually gone over the rainbow through old age. My 7 year old Harvey would love the company of another Friend but i'm hesitant due to the many heartbreaks and grief endured at each loss but mainly my age and whether i still have the coping and emotional mechanisms to welcome another. I yearn to adopt another, but i have to look at all the factors, age and health before i embark upon another adoption

Not one person will adopt Smokey, who, at 948 days, is the longest resident of the shelter 7:19? I’d think at least a few people would go out of their way to adopt a dog like that.
The high cost of dogs in Australia is holding me back. I have my cat on my arm and feather deprived mad cocky inches away. A puppy would be too hard at 70 but a mature unwanted dog would make me walk more ,my present goal. Walking alone is no fun for me.

The word euthanasia seems to be lighter than the words " INTENTIONALLY PROCURE THE DEATH OF AN ANIMAL " which I am against if the animal is HEALTHY and in good health.. Convenient solution because abandoned animals are expensive. And make sterilization mandatory, right? So I thank all the people who adopt an abandoned dog in a shelter
I use the word kill when it's an adoptable animal whose life is ended because there is no home. I use the word euthanasia when it's a kind way to prevent pain and suffering.
They just give up...what a waste
Getting the dogs excited prematurely is cruel. You should wait till the actual moment of pick-up by the adopters to get them all jazzed up. Otherwise it’s purely TH-cam entertainment for the viewers, and heartless disappointment for the poor dogs - especially when the prospective adopters don’t show up to follow-through. Trashy clickbait.
Looks like a lot of pit bulls and mixes. I have always owned dogs, but I wouldn’t take one of those home. Killers of kids, other pets, and even the person who takes them home to be part of the family. Instead, pick out a poodle, golden retriever, Boston Terrior, a Welch Corgi...something not bred to kill.
Where’s your heart? Not everyone of them does what you have claimed. Only a small percentage. How about all the people who ran up the price of pure breeds during the pandemic because they were home only to turn them in when things changed. Fair weather owners who weren’t committed, and those dogs didn’t kill or harm anyone. Your entitled to own whatever kind of dog you want, as we all are, but don’t throw the rest under the bus because of a few. Now if you were speaking from experience, especially more than once, I could understand, but you sound heartless. 8:28
