Wait you guys. There is all kinds of eso plus content that you lose access to if you don't have eso plus anymore. All DLC that isn't a chapter. Shit I quit when chapters came out because I had eso and chapters weren't free.
Your comment about rewards for testing on the live server got me thinking that some future testing on live servers could be turned into special events for more participation. I can imagine players would love a crack at testing with added rewards that we can use on our regular accounts. This is provided that tests like this don’t crash every players’ game. I'm a bit excited. I started eso in 2020. Due to life, stopped shortly after. Picked back up 3 months ago. Pvp has been last on my list. But this change has me interested, feels like a good opening for pve players to test the waters in pvp
6:38 this change is huge. I always tell new players who dont have eso+ that "the starter zones are 10 years old and play like it. The new stuff is a whole new game."
I like the faster start with the mounts but I still wish it was account wide and not per character for the upgrades. Even if it was do it on 3 characters and the rest are unlocked. Ah well .. great video as always
as qol changes, i wish they'd change fishing up a little. it's so annoying to get 10 million gunny sacks that give you like, a singular ta and make your life hell unless you have plus. why can't they have style motifs in them like the pyandonean bottles? they could easily add something like angler/dockworker and nereid motifs and something actually worth selling like treasure items or useful materials in them, i'd be very pleased. they also need to add angling achievement furnishings for each zone, especially expansion ones as there is pretty much no reason to work towards the achievement at all in most areas, and the reward for all base game zones is 4 dyes in total. the last thing i'd like for them to add is probably something like fishbowls and fishtanks, and more furnishings you can pull up from the water like animated "trout, live" or "frog, live" and stuff like that to add critters to your home without having to pay 500 crowns for 2d sprites of photorealistic minnows
Maaann the way theyre looking at starting the changes too cyrodil is dogwater. They just need too nerf the hell outve crosshealing and limit the amount of instances of each healing skill can effect 1 person
1) I really want them to fuse the +50% farm speed and + 50% chance of x2 ressources. 2) Fuse the 2 fishing bonuses and increase the speed to 100% 3) For the Green champion tree, i would like them to try one thing: Infinite stats, since theyre all mostly passive that dont affect stuff. exemple: right now your cap at + 10% gold with Gilded fingers; you could put all your points to get to like 125%.
The green champion changes and the console add ons are going to be absoulutely fantastic for myself and other crafters that play on here. Thankfully I won't have to keep switching out meticulous disassembly every single time I want to deconstruct something. I have forgotten and kicked myself in the butt especially when I was deconstructing a ton of purple gear.
My theory is that ZOS wants to implement Cross-play. Console has almost everything we do now with add-ons. Why not? (Other than crashing both economies 😂)
I'm excited for console players to get AddOns! The new base game zones getting a makeover is -tight-. Dungeons, eh, I like doing em sometimes, but I'm more excited for the changes coming soon! Although I don't have room on my PC for the PTS, I will be doing the PvP test for funsies to test things out.
Thank you for the info. Could you pass a QOL suggestion on? Please ask the devs to learn the many uses of the alphabet, like putting things in alphabetical order. This pertains to so very many of the crafting windows. Also make the crafting windows searchable. It would not hurt anyone's feelings if they also added a viewer to provisioning and alchemy crafting as there is in the others. Okay, that was more than one suggestion, but some very important ones for those of us who craft or sell crafted furnishings a lot. Oh, and the uptick in drop rates for furnishing mats (which was not enough) has only led to higher pricing for those items AND for those that were not even affected by the recent downturn in pricing at traders. If dedicated crafters could spend more time playing the game rather than having to endlessly farm for mats or farm the traders for reasonable prices, that would be a huge QOL change. Making an actual profit would not hurt either.

I'm excited!! Console mod access? yes please. It would be awesome if it works over several console future gens. Test Cyrodiil Campaign max capacity on a level playing field? Yes, please. Its hard enough learning curve for noobs to start Cyrodiil so campaigns that help them learn is a good step. Loving it!

ESO is now GW2 for PvP. Time to move on and this won’t fix the lag. When they moved everything server side during the lighting patch is when the horrendous lag started. They have not been able to figure it out since then and sets used to be super simple also.
I'm still playing on the PS4, so I'm assuming that means I won't be able to take advantage of the mod support. However, I'm assuming I wouldn't have to just start the game over from scratch if I switch to the PS5; but how much of a hassle is it to transfer my game to the new console?
I am glad that they are finally fixing mount speed but it is embarrassing that it took 10 years. Same with green CPs could have neen done much earlier. Very small but impactful changes.
I am a PvP- and MMO-fan and have spend tens of thousands of hours in PvP/MMOs. I did spend 10k-15k hours in ESO, doing a lot of PvP (probably around 1000-2000 (old) BG-matches, got the Emperor-title several times, helped several people getting it etc.). In my opinion ESO-PVP needs: - The fixing of animation cancelling or integration of animation cancelling into the actual game design. Currently it is just a broken combat design that never got fixed. The core of the ESO-PvP is based on quick action-reaction combat, the problem is: the reaction-part doesn´t work anymore when attacks are not visible anymore (animation cancelling). People react to loss of HP, debuffs etc..- so later. With every year new sets added more damage-output, making "one-shots" possible and the time for reaction too late for many. - A focus on player-skills (no not slotable skills but real skills). So less impact of the gear, no or less proc-sets etc.. - Balancing. Especially the NB stealth and sorc teleport dominate PvP. Sets are also not balanced. Old sets are basically thrown away while sets of the newest chapter are the best. - No p2w: spending real money (new chapters/content, crownstore etc) should not give people any advantages in PvP (mythics like oakensoul or saint, arcanist at release, scribing skills etc.) and no AP-bonus for eso+ since it gives an unfair advantage to people using real money going after the Emperor-title - Back to the basics. Focus on the holy trinity/classes. 90% are just DDs and there is not much of a difference in gameplay compared to other games. Tanks in ESO are usually just tanky DDs and do not have another playstyle etc.. Same with support-classes etc. - Tactics. For example: tanks protecting squishy support/caster classes by staying close to them. Stun being a tank-specific-thing, while other classes focus on buffs, debuffs, heals etc. Stealth chars are usually squishy and have a high burst dmg in other games- so u need to think about whom u attack where and when. That isn´t the case in ESO. The direction of attacking also doesn´t matter much - Players need to get locked into one alliance for the duration of the Cyro-campaign. No switching between chars of different alliances and no communication between enemies during the campaign is important ! People constantly switching chars/sides is just annoying - especially since people often go for the strongest side to get easy rewards. The weakest side during a campaign is often just getting weaker. The Emp-title lost all meaning since "enemies" in PvP let each other farm the ring etc. - so work they often together to farm keeps/kill-NPC-guards.... that is the opposite of PvP ! Communication during PvP (Pms or people switching chars and writing in the others alliance chat) is often also getting really toxic - With the low number of players fighting in Cyro the EMP should be nerfed- at least according to the number of players on the server. Often the number of people are not enough to fight the emp and allies- so people don´t and just quit. - Fix the performance/lags and bugs (for example gates of keeps get dmg without getting attacked after they have been fully repaired) - Make siege weapons cheaper to buy. Heal siege weapons back to 100% once u put them back into the inventory- so that they keep stacking... Reduce the AP repairs give. Repairs have a big impact on the ranking and Emp-farming- even though it has nothing to do with PvP. Instead of one guy using 3 siege weapons at the same time- make it impossible to use more than one at once but increase the firing rate or dmg - Make it possible to use any skill without a target required (single target skills get instantly cancelled with stealth, even though the person is right in front of you, making many people prefer aoe) - There should be a longer immunity to the same negative effects. 2h, off balance, stun etc stacking with wrecking blows is for example unbalanced - BGs: give people again the choice what bgs to play, currently there are often people going only after kills instead of capture the flag/relic/ball, often creating toxic chats/situations. The new BGs turning players forcefully into a big wolf or vampire, removing their skills, when they pick up the ball is also really bad. Players do not want to pick up the balls, because the loss of their skills feels like a punishment since it makes them often a lot weaker.... The waiting for players to arrive in a BG, after queuing, is horrible. Start matches only when everyone is there and fill slots opening up afterwards during the match. The spectating-mode is also zero fun. The new maps give melee often an advantage (no big open spaces for (long) ranged skills - this especially impacts bows) - PvP needs better rewards. Claiming keeps is atm pretty much pointless for guilds. They need rewards for doing it (for example a XP-bonus that also works outside of Cyro, an increased gain of materials or whatever). There should also be personal rewards for the players - like new skills for each increase of the rank etc. The current PvP-skills are mostly useless and have almost no impact on PvP at all. Compared to PVE, currently the PvP in ESO is not worth the time/rewards. The PvP-sets are often not great. They are also random and not bound- so u can get them faster farming gold and just buying them. Doing lots of PvP in Cyro/Going after the Emp title can actually cost u more AP/gold than u gain... (siege weapons, repairs, camps etc.) - Rewards need to be calculated differently since many players just run to keeps after the fighting is over to leech AP-points, without having participated in any fighting - Many of the remaining PvP-players in ESO prefer u50 BGs/Cyro (no need to farm mythics, monster sets or gold gear) just slap some set on and start smashing in skulls ! The combat is also more balanced and lasts longer/is more focused on the players actual skill (less burst dmg etc.). These players constantly need to remake their chars. Just add the option to disable XP-gain... - Teamplay needs to have benefits in a MMO. In ESO many players are playing next to each other instead of with each other, making ESO mostly a singple-player experience. This is also the case for PvP. - BG-groups need to have the option to kick toxic or afk-players ! - Macros and Addons that auto-switch (CP)skills need to be forbidden and banned in PvP ! (- PC-UI for Pc-players instead of limiting it to the few keys of consoles and bar swapping) Ps: I probably missed a lot, but this was stuff that just came first into my mind. A bit chaotic, feel free to add more. This is about PvP only
changes to the green skill change good, console mods - i don't really care about even though i play on console, starter zones being updated - don't really care as nothing is enticing me back to them. Maybe something to bring you back to zones eg the starter zones and zones like Blackreach which is now dead. I would like to see some caps lifted on house limits eg special furnishings and houseguests, as well as better actions for houseguests eg play an instument, sit in a seat etc. Would like to see more companion interation, would like to see cyrodiil opened up so that it can be travelled like other zones but sure keep it PVP, i would like to see the speed and stamina removed, why grind a horses speed, what is the point? never got the reason behind this, it is just annoying. Would like guild bank added to normal bank on banking assistant, would like some kind of solution for scale on attempting dragons, harrowstorms and geysers for dlc zones that are in the past as it can be painful to complete whereas a dolmen is easy, i would like to see a scale in difficulty, eg noob, low, mid,hard, elite, these changes are a good start but many more are needed.
While the PvP testing might result in better performance, taking away the ability for people to customize builds will effectively kill the game for a lot of people. A lot of the fun of ESO in general is the amount of skills and armor sets that you can experiment with. I mean think that this might have been good at the beginning back in the day, but I'm not so sure at this point.
This is like when ps5 takes a ps2/3 game and remasters it, but adds new things. They will totally bring back the other things, I don’t think they will have cyrodiil that way forever. We rely on the people that always play to continue playing just a little bit at the least. They’re collecting data and we need the best in there. I think this would give developers a way to test the classes. They keep nerfing things and affect PVE. Certain nerfs should just be PvP because I think they do it because of that. Idk perhaps I’m but hurt they took the execute perk off flail for the archanist but it’s still pretty expensive. A slight cost reduction would have been great. It really affects my dps. I need to hit higher but I can only 1 bar.
@Official_JakeClips By making builds obselete and giving a set of skills instead of choosing yourself. Watch the preset builds have some of the worst skill setups imaginable. No Race Against Time or other skills that are essential for survival

Yet they won't upgrade them nor will they fix them. If they came out and said we are upgrading our servers to handle multiple calculations due to proc sets and abilities. I'd be OK. About new dungeons. I think they want to push PvP aspects of the gameplay into PvE content. Okay. Some people think they would prefer to just play PvE in this game as playing PvP was not worth enough. And i can agree with it as i also don't want to rush into PvP with much broken item sets for keeping healing on players and play like immortal tank for everybody... PvP was used to let people dying unless people get a healer nearby. But also the class abilities of some classes are overpowered including new class, Arcanist.This PvP experience letting people to stop dying and keep zerging all along and take advantage over randoms even in IC or BG which is crazy.
I'm looking forward to trying out cyrodiil when there's standardized loadouts. And bringing social guildies into Cyrodiil. The "level playing field" is great for bringing new players to pvp.
Idk how I feel about mod support. I definitely think some would be cool (mini map) but I don’t want it to take away skill. At the end of the day we will see.
mods dont take away skill.... for example mods that actually press buttons for you are forbidden, and im sure they will only allow very specific well tested mods for console, they not just gonna let anything get on there!

Theres some interesting changes for sure, and i would love to be excited for the changes, but i really dont know if i can keep playing the game after hearing what happened to Nefas. I've noticed zos has some nasty habits and nastier personalities and how they treat their own has really made me wary of trying to tie that kind of company in my life.

As a former end game PVE er and one who did hardcore PVP in other games, this is not enough to bring me back to ESO. Been happier since I quit, hope the management starts letting the devs cook, cause right now the smoke alarms are going off, and the meat of the game is raw. I think the ESO devs have done well, but I seriously question the decision making of the management at this point. It is clear that the working talent, the devs, and artist have done good work, art is good, story is ok, no major engine bugs lately (that were not fixed in a reasonable manner). But then you get to the monetization, the servers, the ridiculous top-down decisions regarding balance, and how things are done, it is sad to watch. So, until they ditch things like that formula for making new sets and instead focus on gameplay and fun, I am done with ESO. The game is too easy (PVE) and does not work (PVP), and all the item sets feel like reskins at this point. There is nothing to do. Nothing to work on. Think that the sets system needs an overhaul, but I doubt the management will let the devs cook up a better system. Maybe if I was a consol player I would appreciate the work they are doing more, but on PC NA, the game feels very dead, could not even find 4 people to do zone stuff during prime time in new zones. On PC we have other options for fantasy MMO's and it feels like they are focusing more on their consol development because there are not many fantasy MMO's on console. The passive skill stuff does not matter on PC, cause addons, and none of the other stuff matters to veteran players. When the hardest part of a trial's mechanics are the doors, your game has issues.
They mentioned specifically that these dungeons have nothing to do with any other storyline. You can stop trying to find hints at everything, it's getting a bit much.
They keep adding proc sets.. that do nothing but load more the server with effects, that are almost duplicates of previous existing effects.... Strongly dislike this... one second to proc. kind of sets, on PVP people move out of them and if they implement the PVP test permanently. Them they will be useless... And on PVE... is just the same effects in a different texture. there are a lot of sets in the game.. and so many are just not worth using or the effect are so specific.. that are useless for 95% of the player... the rest go with almost the same duplicate of sets over and over again.... wish they would add monster sets, that modify specific skills in unique and fun ways, and new sets that boost skills, or even alter how the function to create even more skills and build variety. on cast effects, with their own interaction, without the need to create lasting ground animations, and constantly keeping track of the procs.
If they want Cyrodiil to have epic battles, this is the right start. Class only skills, maybe weapon skills eventually but keep armor options to nothing. Make it so when you port in, you wear something like "Standard Soldier's Issue" and there's no set bonuses. It's all skill based. Make rewards cosmetics and allow your basic soldier uniform to become more elaborate but still faction focused. The different sets cause lag, intimidate many people and make the game feel so impossible for new players that don't have gold gear.
Man, I’m disappointed. I don’t PvP so the Cyrodiil stuff doesn’t affect me. I still haven’t done the dungeons from probably the last 3 or 4 DLCs yet, I won’t be excitedly rushing for these ones. I live for the new zone content every year, and the new Trial. And we get… none of that. But hey, a starter zone I haven’t paid attention to in ten years will look better for new players (Optimistic to expect a ton of new players for a game ten years old). And like the 50th $100 house you can buy. Cool… 🙄This year is going to be dogshit with the removal of the chapter system. I see it already. I knew it as soon as they announced it. Literally the ONLY positive news is addon support on console. I might finally cancel my ESO Plus after all these years. This is the beginning of the end. I see the game declining from here as it digs it’s grave.

Thank you for the info. Could you pass a QOL suggestion on? Please ask the devs to learn the many uses of the alphabet, like putting things in alphabetical order. This pertains to so very many of the crafting windows. Also make the crafting windows searchable. It would not hurt anyone's feelings if they also added a viewer to provisioning and alchemy crafting as there is in the others. Okay, that was more than one suggestion, but some very important ones for those of us who craft or sell crafted furnishings a lot.
Oh, and the uptick in drop rates for furnishing mats (which was not enough) has only led to higher pricing for those items AND for those that were not even affected by the recent downturn in pricing at traders. If dedicated crafters could spend more time playing the game rather than having to endlessly farm for mats or farm the traders for reasonable prices, that would be a huge QOL change. Making an actual profit would not hurt either.

Maybe this will encourage players to make test environment to help Devs to find a solution on this i've mentioned in my previous comment.
I'm excited!! Console mod access? yes please. It would be awesome if it works over several console future gens. Test Cyrodiil Campaign max capacity on a level playing field? Yes, please. Its hard enough learning curve for noobs to start Cyrodiil so campaigns that help them learn is a good step. Loving it!
Next gen mod support was all I needed to hear! Can't wait for the "hey, you need to block in 20 seconds" and dungeon DPS meters, randoms are gonna be toxic AF 😂

ESO is now GW2 for PvP. Time to move on and this won’t fix the lag. When they moved everything server side during the lighting patch is when the horrendous lag started. They have not been able to figure it out since then and sets used to be super simple also.

I'm still playing on the PS4, so I'm assuming that means I won't be able to take advantage of the mod support. However, I'm assuming I wouldn't have to just start the game over from scratch if I switch to the PS5; but how much of a hassle is it to transfer my game to the new console?

I am glad that they are finally fixing mount speed but it is embarrassing that it took 10 years.
Same with green CPs could have neen done much earlier. Very small but impactful changes.
Pvp needs to have weapon based skills like I play a none magic character and don't want to be forced into a magic character just to play pvp.
I am a PvP- and MMO-fan and have spend tens of thousands of hours in PvP/MMOs. I did spend 10k-15k hours in ESO, doing a lot of PvP (probably around 1000-2000 (old) BG-matches, got the Emperor-title several times, helped several people getting it etc.). In my opinion ESO-PVP needs:
- The fixing of animation cancelling or integration of animation cancelling into the actual game design. Currently it is just a broken combat design that never got fixed. The core of the ESO-PvP is based on quick action-reaction combat, the problem is: the reaction-part doesn´t work anymore when attacks are not visible anymore (animation cancelling). People react to loss of HP, debuffs etc..- so later. With every year new sets added more damage-output, making "one-shots" possible and the time for reaction too late for many.
- A focus on player-skills (no not slotable skills but real skills). So less impact of the gear, no or less proc-sets etc..
- Balancing. Especially the NB stealth and sorc teleport dominate PvP. Sets are also not balanced. Old sets are basically thrown away while sets of the newest chapter are the best.
- No p2w: spending real money (new chapters/content, crownstore etc) should not give people any advantages in PvP (mythics like oakensoul or saint, arcanist at release, scribing skills etc.) and no AP-bonus for eso+ since it gives an unfair advantage to people using real money going after the Emperor-title
- Back to the basics. Focus on the holy trinity/classes. 90% are just DDs and there is not much of a difference in gameplay compared to other games. Tanks in ESO are usually just tanky DDs and do not have another playstyle etc.. Same with support-classes etc.
- Tactics. For example: tanks protecting squishy support/caster classes by staying close to them. Stun being a tank-specific-thing, while other classes focus on buffs, debuffs, heals etc. Stealth chars are usually squishy and have a high burst dmg in other games- so u need to think about whom u attack where and when. That isn´t the case in ESO. The direction of attacking also doesn´t matter much
- Players need to get locked into one alliance for the duration of the Cyro-campaign. No switching between chars of different alliances and no communication between enemies during the campaign is important ! People constantly switching chars/sides is just annoying - especially since people often go for the strongest side to get easy rewards. The weakest side during a campaign is often just getting weaker. The Emp-title lost all meaning since "enemies" in PvP let each other farm the ring etc. - so work they often together to farm keeps/kill-NPC-guards.... that is the opposite of PvP ! Communication during PvP (Pms or people switching chars and writing in the others alliance chat) is often also getting really toxic
- With the low number of players fighting in Cyro the EMP should be nerfed- at least according to the number of players on the server. Often the number of people are not enough to fight the emp and allies- so people don´t and just quit.
- Fix the performance/lags and bugs (for example gates of keeps get dmg without getting attacked after they have been fully repaired)
- Make siege weapons cheaper to buy. Heal siege weapons back to 100% once u put them back into the inventory- so that they keep stacking... Reduce the AP repairs give. Repairs have a big impact on the ranking and Emp-farming- even though it has nothing to do with PvP. Instead of one guy using 3 siege weapons at the same time- make it impossible to use more than one at once but increase the firing rate or dmg
- Make it possible to use any skill without a target required (single target skills get instantly cancelled with stealth, even though the person is right in front of you, making many people prefer aoe)
- There should be a longer immunity to the same negative effects. 2h, off balance, stun etc stacking with wrecking blows is for example unbalanced
- BGs: give people again the choice what bgs to play, currently there are often people going only after kills instead of capture the flag/relic/ball, often creating toxic chats/situations. The new BGs turning players forcefully into a big wolf or vampire, removing their skills, when they pick up the ball is also really bad. Players do not want to pick up the balls, because the loss of their skills feels like a punishment since it makes them often a lot weaker.... The waiting for players to arrive in a BG, after queuing, is horrible. Start matches only when everyone is there and fill slots opening up afterwards during the match. The spectating-mode is also zero fun. The new maps give melee often an advantage (no big open spaces for (long) ranged skills - this especially impacts bows)
- PvP needs better rewards. Claiming keeps is atm pretty much pointless for guilds. They need rewards for doing it (for example a XP-bonus that also works outside of Cyro, an increased gain of materials or whatever). There should also be personal rewards for the players - like new skills for each increase of the rank etc. The current PvP-skills are mostly useless and have almost no impact on PvP at all. Compared to PVE, currently the PvP in ESO is not worth the time/rewards. The PvP-sets are often not great. They are also random and not bound- so u can get them faster farming gold and just buying them.
Doing lots of PvP in Cyro/Going after the Emp title can actually cost u more AP/gold than u gain... (siege weapons, repairs, camps etc.)
- Rewards need to be calculated differently since many players just run to keeps after the fighting is over to leech AP-points, without having participated in any fighting
- Many of the remaining PvP-players in ESO prefer u50 BGs/Cyro (no need to farm mythics, monster sets or gold gear) just slap some set on and start smashing in skulls ! The combat is also more balanced and lasts longer/is more focused on the players actual skill (less burst dmg etc.). These players constantly need to remake their chars. Just add the option to disable XP-gain...
- Teamplay needs to have benefits in a MMO. In ESO many players are playing next to each other instead of with each other, making ESO mostly a singple-player experience. This is also the case for PvP.
- BG-groups need to have the option to kick toxic or afk-players !
- Macros and Addons that auto-switch (CP)skills need to be forbidden and banned in PvP !
(- PC-UI for Pc-players instead of limiting it to the few keys of consoles and bar swapping)
Ps: I probably missed a lot, but this was stuff that just came first into my mind. A bit chaotic, feel free to add more. This is about PvP only
changes to the green skill change good, console mods - i don't really care about even though i play on console, starter zones being updated - don't really care as nothing is enticing me back to them. Maybe something to bring you back to zones eg the starter zones and zones like Blackreach which is now dead. I would like to see some caps lifted on house limits eg special furnishings and houseguests, as well as better actions for houseguests eg play an instument, sit in a seat etc. Would like to see more companion interation, would like to see cyrodiil opened up so that it can be travelled like other zones but sure keep it PVP, i would like to see the speed and stamina removed, why grind a horses speed, what is the point? never got the reason behind this, it is just annoying. Would like guild bank added to normal bank on banking assistant, would like some kind of solution for scale on attempting dragons, harrowstorms and geysers for dlc zones that are in the past as it can be painful to complete whereas a dolmen is easy, i would like to see a scale in difficulty, eg noob, low, mid,hard, elite, these changes are a good start but many more are needed.
While the PvP testing might result in better performance, taking away the ability for people to customize builds will effectively kill the game for a lot of people. A lot of the fun of ESO in general is the amount of skills and armor sets that you can experiment with. I mean think that this might have been good at the beginning back in the day, but I'm not so sure at this point.

This is like when ps5 takes a ps2/3 game and remasters it, but adds new things. They will totally bring back the other things, I don’t think they will have cyrodiil that way forever. We rely on the people that always play to continue playing just a little bit at the least. They’re collecting data and we need the best in there.
I think this would give developers a way to test the classes. They keep nerfing things and affect PVE. Certain nerfs should just be PvP because I think they do it because of that.
Idk perhaps I’m but hurt they took the execute perk off flail for the archanist but it’s still pretty expensive. A slight cost reduction would have been great. It really affects my dps. I need to hit higher but I can only 1 bar.
Add-ons for console is cool, but seriously though. It's already in the config files can we PLEASE just have in-game native voice on PC?!

Some people think they would prefer to just play PvE in this game as playing PvP was not worth enough.
And i can agree with it as i also don't want to rush into PvP with much broken item sets for keeping healing on players and play like immortal tank for everybody...
PvP was used to let people dying unless people get a healer nearby. But also the class abilities of some classes are overpowered including new class, Arcanist.This PvP experience letting people to stop dying and keep zerging all along and take advantage over randoms even in IC or BG which is crazy.
I'm looking forward to trying out cyrodiil when there's standardized loadouts. And bringing social guildies into Cyrodiil. The "level playing field" is great for bringing new players to pvp.

Idk how I feel about mod support. I definitely think some would be cool (mini map) but I don’t want it to take away skill. At the end of the day we will see.
mods dont take away skill.... for example mods that actually press buttons for you are forbidden, and im sure they will only allow very specific well tested mods for console, they not just gonna let anything get on there!

Theres some interesting changes for sure, and i would love to be excited for the changes, but i really dont know if i can keep playing the game after hearing what happened to Nefas. I've noticed zos has some nasty habits and nastier personalities and how they treat their own has really made me wary of trying to tie that kind of company in my life.

As a former end game PVE er and one who did hardcore PVP in other games, this is not enough to bring me back to ESO. Been happier since I quit, hope the management starts letting the devs cook, cause right now the smoke alarms are going off, and the meat of the game is raw. I think the ESO devs have done well, but I seriously question the decision making of the management at this point. It is clear that the working talent, the devs, and artist have done good work, art is good, story is ok, no major engine bugs lately (that were not fixed in a reasonable manner). But then you get to the monetization, the servers, the ridiculous top-down decisions regarding balance, and how things are done, it is sad to watch. So, until they ditch things like that formula for making new sets and instead focus on gameplay and fun, I am done with ESO. The game is too easy (PVE) and does not work (PVP), and all the item sets feel like reskins at this point. There is nothing to do. Nothing to work on. Think that the sets system needs an overhaul, but I doubt the management will let the devs cook up a better system. Maybe if I was a consol player I would appreciate the work they are doing more, but on PC NA, the game feels very dead, could not even find 4 people to do zone stuff during prime time in new zones. On PC we have other options for fantasy MMO's and it feels like they are focusing more on their consol development because there are not many fantasy MMO's on console. The passive skill stuff does not matter on PC, cause addons, and none of the other stuff matters to veteran players. When the hardest part of a trial's mechanics are the doors, your game has issues.

Honest the equip has no point, just let people unlock it and turn into active passive.
They keep adding proc sets.. that do nothing but load more the server with effects, that are almost duplicates of previous existing effects....
Strongly dislike this... one second to proc. kind of sets, on PVP people move out of them and if they implement the PVP test permanently. Them they will be useless...
And on PVE... is just the same effects in a different texture. there are a lot of sets in the game.. and so many are just not worth using or the effect are so specific.. that are useless for 95% of the player... the rest go with almost the same duplicate of sets over and over again....
wish they would add monster sets, that modify specific skills in unique and fun ways, and new sets that boost skills, or even alter how the function to create even more skills and build variety. on cast effects, with their own interaction, without the need to create lasting ground animations, and constantly keeping track of the procs.
True they need to cut out a lot of sets from the game

honestly, not that much to be excited about in this patch for PC players.
If they want Cyrodiil to have epic battles, this is the right start.
Class only skills, maybe weapon skills eventually but keep armor options to nothing. Make it so when you port in, you wear something like "Standard Soldier's Issue" and there's no set bonuses. It's all skill based.
Make rewards cosmetics and allow your basic soldier uniform to become more elaborate but still faction focused. The different sets cause lag, intimidate many people and make the game feel so impossible for new players that don't have gold gear.
Pvp has been unplayable since the mage shield bs a year ago. Meh changing the stage wont change anything. Same shit diff color background

Man, I’m disappointed. I don’t PvP so the Cyrodiil stuff doesn’t affect me. I still haven’t done the dungeons from probably the last 3 or 4 DLCs yet, I won’t be excitedly rushing for these ones. I live for the new zone content every year, and the new Trial. And we get… none of that. But hey, a starter zone I haven’t paid attention to in ten years will look better for new players (Optimistic to expect a ton of new players for a game ten years old). And like the 50th $100 house you can buy. Cool… 🙄This year is going to be dogshit with the removal of the chapter system. I see it already. I knew it as soon as they announced it.
Literally the ONLY positive news is addon support on console. I might finally cancel my ESO Plus after all these years. This is the beginning of the end. I see the game declining from here as it digs it’s grave.
