Love the binding you used on this meandering book! It is the first time I have seen it used! I love the colors and the symbols you used. I am not familiar with Martin Bradley, but will do some research! Your art and ideas are always unique!!! Loved watching you create this treasure inspired by another artist! At first, the thumbprint looked like the book was made from cardboard which I love. Gluing the pages together gave it a similar appearance! You're the first artist to be able to show me & explain the meandering book & it's variations! 👏 The gold edges are beautiful. 💛 Thank you so much!

There are several patterns for folding meander books. The zigzag is the basic one. Scrapbookers and junk journalers lover them because you can leave some of the sides open when gluing to create pockets for tags.

Lovely, and looks lots of fun. The artist's brush strokes look quite calligraphic, like ancient Chinese oracle bones. Will definitely be having a go! Thank you for sharing this idea, and the artist's work, with us.

Great little book never seen one done like this. I like that, as you say abstract is best for it because of the cutting and folding. Great colours you used, I must admit I don’t recall the artist but I like, so will have to look up the name it will probably come to me when I see his work as it often does! I love that format! and that would be fun to experiment with! I've used it with watercolor painting without gluing it together. It is fun because you can choose as many 'page' as you need, and open it out when you are done and see the entire piece at once.

I love this little book and your tribute to Martin Bradley. I think it must have been difficult to get it to turn out so well. I’m afraid mine would turn out awfully wonky!
Thank you Kathy - it is easier to do if it is folded in 4 each way but I decided I wanted larger pages - so the hardest things was measuring and calculating thirds! I was surprised I got it right :)
I really like how the meander book works, the whole piece is so clever. I wish I would have had the energy to participate the last few weeks. The house is still in an uproar even though we are on the last room, the tile is going down. But there has been massive cleaning to do, and also I have been working many hours in the gardens. I just walk into my art room (which is still dead storage for the furniture that has been evicted from other rooms) and I have no energy or inspiration. I have had an idea to do a Monet inspired piece featuring my own gardens, but it has been a struggle to do anything about the idea. I think I might be able to manage this! At any rate, I have been totally enjoying this series of prompts.

Thank you Susan. I used Beacon 3 in 1 glue simply because it's fast drying. A PVA glue would be fine as well. :)
