Helooo, for further people who see or askk, YT flagged the video with the music from the 1999 cutscene. I could have appealed it but that could of taken days. I'm sorry for the music not being there, I'm not exactly happy myself with how it turned out. :((
Heya, if you read this before sunday get some Ducats and swing your butt over to Baro, he has Primed Fever Strike (+165% Melee Toxin) and Jolt (+60% Electricity and Status for Secondary). Both of these mods can ONLY be obtained from Baro (or trading) so pick them up this weekend!
"I'm just gonna blast him" - no, that's not what the Tenno do. Remember Umbra's Quest? "Somehow, from within the void, from the derelict horror, *they had learned to look inside a deeply broken thing... and to take away its pain*".
Strange, considering DE clearly stated this cutscene shouldn't be flagged. I wouldn't blame DE soo much as TH-cam and its shitty flagging/review system. (they showcased this live and Reb said to not worry about copyright strikes)
Lore context!: The Void is a place that responds to extreme emotions--we learned this with Duviri, as created by the Drifter. Duviri was a tool to help the colonists manage their emotions--to teach them that extreme emotions and the Void don't mix. Loid's anger and contempt for Albrecht's departure to the past only fueled the Void's desire to get into the lab. The Chosen Operator (you, the player), know from experience, that the opposite of Love isn't Hate, its *Indifference*. So to combat the Indifference, you need *Love*. Reminding Loid of the love between he and Albrecht (Yes they're gay, its canon, confirmed by DE), was enough to help Loid come to grips with his emotions, and effectively defang the Void's advance. But now the Labs have been breached, so its up to us to keep the Void at bay. The tenno have learned through many encounters in Warframe's history that Love and forgiveness have been our most powerful tool. Margulis' love for the Tenno. Operator's understanding for Umbra's grief and trauma. Love underpins so much of Warframe's story. Humanity, Understanding, grieving. Healing. "For it was not their force of will, not their Void Devilry. It was that from within that derelict horror, they had learned to see inside an ugly, broken thing... and take away its pain." Many believe that Wally is.. lonely, and struggling to reconcile its lonliness, but we don't know for certain what Wally's motivations are. EDit: Also! Wally isn't Entrati (that we know of). Wally takes the appearance of those who see him(Various NPCs have reported seeing distorted reflections of themselves, or seen others with 'unsettling grins', like Rell when he said 'YOur face is stretchy, mama', which could be mistaken as the man in the wall fucking with Rell). Albrecht was the 'first' person we know of to have 'met' wally, when he was doing a Dive into the Void (basically using like.. a special diving bell). but what he saw inside during one trip horrified him so much, he ran back through the portal. he's not sure if it was him or 'the other' who made it back thru. all he knows is that when the portal closed, a single finger remained on the floor (the same finger that powers our reliquary drives for our Railjacks). also! Albrecht's trip into the void rendered him deaf, blind and feeble. The trip and meeting wally terrified him so much, that he refused Continuity (the process that allows the Orokin to transfer their conciousness into another body to cheat death), so the body you see him in now is not his original body. Loid was the one who nursed him back to health, and the two fell in love during that time.
We have a theory with a friend of mine about Wally. I'll explain it, but it is just a theory. The core of the theory is that, like the Drifter, Wally is in fact another version of the Operator in some form. Their aim could be to ensure their own conception from the current Operator since, when the deal was shook, it seemed that all other possible alternatives of the Operator were forcibly removed from existence aside from the Drifter. The Drifter, then, was kept as a form of insurance policy, should anything happen to the Operator. But they also represent two possible paths the Operator could end up taking, quite like the current Paragon system seems to function, with the Operator being a mixture of the two at the moment. Again, this is just a theory, with very little evidence. I'm not saying it's true, I'm saying I think it to be plausible.
@@DaRealLloydyalso "The Indifference" is the name this quest uses for Wally. And during a certain section the fish tells you that because his finger is in our dimension, he has to obey our laws of time, and this is why it wants its finger back. But so far we've only seen copies of its finger (in the Railjack and the Zariman) and we don't know where the original is. You can also see when his true form appears at the end of the New War, that he is missing his index finger (if you pat attention to it at least.) and this is also why he uses so much concrete fingers in the parts of the lab that he took. And because he himself cannot enter the labs yet, he uses the Fragmented Ones (the boss you fought at the end of this quest) as heralds to take the labs and clear the way for him. Last but not least, you've made him mad for not giving him the page. So yeah he knows what the consequences may be of that. But since he was plucking a Lotus flower, he's likely going after her. But the next big update is gonna be Warframe 1999
the music department that was in charge of the whispers soundtrack was cooking edit: try and hit rank 5 with the cavia when you can, their story is actually so frickin good
Same team that worked on Veilbreaker, Duviri, and Zariman. Pretty sure it was part of the leadership change when Reb took over, and my god do they know how to cook.
The sound design as a whole, the void tongue parts shake me to my core. They know how to make something sound beautiful, sad, or downright fucking terrifying. 11/10 from DE
@@godzelda123definitely feels like it, ever since the war ended it’s felt like we’ve been playing a different game almost, the corpus gets to show up occasionally because of Parvos and I haven’t thought about the grineer lore wise since we handled the elder queen despite Kahl being around, and don’t get me started on the infested
We had a deal. The deal was shook. A little handshake, all it took! Though from the deal the wee child ran.. Yet still, WE END AS WE BEGAN! (as far as we know, The Man in the Wall it's like a lovecraftian entity that can poses people or "imitate" others... like the Operator and maybe Albrecht...) BTW, you got extra lore with every standing level you gain with every faction (even the Entrati Family or the Cavia)
If you're curious, the Man in the Wall, The Murmur, and the Great Indifference are all the same entity. It has many names and endless forms, hence why there's an infinite amount of Murmur enemies. And Albrecht in a way created him, but it's not that simple. He was an Orokin scientist who was fascinated with the void and was the first one to enter it in Orokin history. He made a portal and planned to dive in with a glass bell for protection, but the glass shattered and he fell into the portal, exposing him. Then he sees a copy of himself offering a hand and says "Little Bengal" which was a nickname his Mom gave him (Kinda like how he says "Hey Kiddo" with us). Albrecht refused the hand and escaped back to his lab, though often wondered if it was him who escaped...or the other. Which basically means the Void had no form before Albrecht made contact, but as soon as Void energy interacts with a conscious being, it mimics it and manifested their emotions into reality. We don't know why, we don't know it's gameplan, all we know is he's pissed as fuck and we should be worried.
I recommend you access the computer behind Loid, so you can have a resume of the storyline so far. I also recommend watching Albrecht's story in order at the pillars at Necraloid's place. If you want to understand Warframe's story better, StallordD is the BEST channel to watch.
22:45 we do know a tiny bit of Voidtongue actually. The requiems being the first and the only ones with direct translations given to us by Albrecht himself. More interestingly is the phrase "mara lohk." As to what mara means? We arent 100% sure. But we do know lohk means Void. This phrase is also only ever used when referring to us, the Tenno. Speculations range from "child of the void" to "void demon" but whatever the case is, its clear that it is about us.
14:46 If you had gone backwards out of the back exit of the train instead of leaving immediately you would have met a... familiar face which implies that you were followed back in time by an uninvited guest.
Also for the fulmin, theres a mod called “internal bleeding” that will help u deal with higher lvl enemies by applying slash/bleeds on enemies from impact procs. The fulmin force procs impact, so its very good.
Warframe is a very optomistic game. Even when things go bad they find a way to work out it seems. Wally is pure indifference. Defeated, if only for a moment, by compassion. Breaking his hold over the vessel.
You mentioned raids and in the past we did have two raids. The Jordas Verdict, and Law of Retribution. They were 8-man missions that took roughly 45m to 1.5h. The jordas verdict however had pretty severe gamebreaking bugs towards the end of the mission that resulted in it being impossible to finish about 20% of the time. There were so many complaints about these bugs and the challenge of new players figuring out what they actually needed to do for the trial missions they ended up getting scrapped. I miss my weekly jordas verdict more than you could imagine
13:25 no need to copyright just politely 26:45 I don’t care if I keep picking at this void creature I wanna fight it 36:08 I cannot understand, void tongue
@@godzelda123 we still don't know some of the words... For example, MARA doesn't means demon (btw, in the DE scripts, they refere to the Operator as MARA... that's the only "confirmation" we have... maybe "void child"?)
13:27 incase you are not aware a lot of warframe 1999 stuff is very much a nod to the previous game they made called Dark Sector. There were even some posters in the subway that were easter eggs for Dark Sector.
The nataruk is easily the best bow in the game. Also you are right about shooting the bow at yellow. The indicator for the perfect shot is those 2 lines.
Forward: This comment is 800+ words.... 😳 whoops. Prologue: Alright time to work my way through this one, make several edits as I go, and summarize some lore tidbits and tips i learned from someone else... (it's the warframe creed, "*I* dont know how it works or what it all means, but that guy does, and he taught me and now i will teach you". 😊) Chapter 1: 2:30 It's very faint but you can actually make out the phrase "Loid, I only wish that I could have been worthy of you". (you cant unhear it once you know) We call that "forshadowing" 😂 Love this story, I'll make edits as I go as per usual ❤️ Chapter 2: one of the joys of watching someone else play through a quest is picking up on things you completely missed the first time through. At 3:35 the door responded to the word "Kalymos", seems stupidly obvious now that im writing it out but now it makes sense, the barrier keeping the Warframes out dissolved allowing them access, and also unlocked the part of NechraLoid's "brain" that allows him to perform his duty, a duty that has lain dormant for an untold amount of years, hence the *GASP*. (If an amount of time is known or told, I don't remember it 😢) Chapter 3: I could explain in more detail, but too many words. In brief, (assuming youre using OBS or a varient of it) look into recording as an MKV file with multiple audio tracks. You can have up to 6 and can send the audio sources to different trakcs using the "Advanced Audio Properties" setting. Then at least you could have your voice separated if this happens again. If your editing software doesnt like MKV, OBS has a built in "Remux Recordings" feature that converts it into an MP4, separate audio sources and all. 👌 Chapter 4: 25:58 fun fact, raids used to be a thing in warframe, but from what I picked up across TH-cam videos and various comments on videos in Forum posts, they kind of sucked. They were removed a while back, but I came across one old player who upon seeing Railjack for the first time just said "oh that's raids isnt it?". And that seems to be the general consensus, Railjack was supposed to be the new 4-man raid gameplay loop, but no one plays it because it still kind of sucks from a farming perspective, (the default metric by which any given fameplay loop gets graded once you play long enough), and while DE keeps adding new content that's supposed to be so hard you need four players in order to beat it, in the same patch they'll introduce a character or a new set of weapons that enable experienced players to essentially take that gameplay loop and snap it over their knee. Balance is hard, and this game has literal dozens upon dozens of different gameplay loops all vying for your attention and time, but the best way to experience it all is with a group of friends, because the public matchmaking kind of sucks outside very specific game modes. But cracking relics on Interception, piloting a railjack through a Void Storm with a friend on the turret, hunting down a Rank 5 Kuva Litch, and fishing with your buddies on an alien planet has never been more enjoyable in my book. 😉 Chapter 5: 30:24 Fibonacci (AKA Fishonacci), is one of my favorite VA performances, Albrecht's VA also knocked it out of the park. Chapter 6: I missed it the first time around but the Operator is the one inside the guy reaching out... not sure how I missed that. Aside from that revalation my favorite edit I've watched of this scene was from TheDsIEGE (th-cam.com/video/JIg4IjGktAQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FbhmKEAw7Qa17IBQ @ 23:55) where he overlayed a line from "The Sacrifice" quest: "And it was not their force of will, not their Void devilry, not their alien darkness... it was something else. It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly broken thing...and take away its pain." The Tenno once again doing what they do best and bringing peace, caressing the one that hates them just as Albrecht did before laying in the coffin. He knew Loid would resent him, even question if he did the right thing, you can hear the bitterness in Loid's voice throughout the questline, but a simple gesture reminded him of who Albrecht really was; a friend. Epilogue: If you dont want to spend the time ranking the Cavia there are plenty of videos, (I recommend TheDsIEGE because he lets the full cutscene play out and then discusses it, that cover all the lore that unlocks at each Syndicate rank up. That'll be all for me flooding the comment section on this video. I hope you find entertainment in the other questlines as well, some of them are surprisingly good. "Octavia's Anthem" is a particular favorite because I'm a music nerd... Either way, Warframe 1999 has a lot of questions to answer, and I need to get back to my Prime grind. Take care, stay safe, God bless, and fight well Tenno ❤
Go to where you started the quest (where the ball thing got sucked into the ground) and interact with the pictures on the wall. It will explain more of the story to you. 👍
The question posed in the quest, when it even shows the line, is what I have been repeating under the videos. “VOULL NE XATA VOK, MARA LOHK?” There are theories what this could translate to, including “are you searching the truth”, “do you seek the truth”, or “want to know the truth”. There is a quote from Elie Wiesel. “The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it’s indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it’s indifference. And the opposite of life isn’t death, it’s indifference.” So, to combat Warframe’s Indifference, the Operator (us) have used love to remind Loid to snap out of his rage, because as we have seen in Duviri, extreme emotion and the Void make very strange stuff. (Also, this is a real-world branch of maths.) It’s named conceptual embodiment, and the Tenno even complain in the Zariman “when will we ever need this stuff anyways?”. This is where they need it.
The Cavia syndicate is my favorite in terms of lore. The scenes you get for leveling them up are so interesting to watch. It was one of the few that I was genuinely excited to level up just to see what happened next.
shouldnt of been copywrighted on you, they literally said in a stream that it would be safe for people to stream the whole mission... most likely a false claim by some bot
39:46 "For it was not their force of will, not their Void Devilry. It was that from within that derelict horror, they had learned to see inside an ugly, broken thing... and take away its pain."
There's a line in the quest that bugged me then and bugs me watching this. Loid talks about the pom-2 not being "future proof" which implies that either 1999 is in their future, or that that device was just hella old.
39:46, if your wondering Man in the wall is kinda doesnt like the feeling of love, i think anyways Whispers in the wall is the intro chapter to 1999. 1999 will come out in july 19/20, but we will get an Update called Jade light, right before that 1999 update
Lloydi, just to explain a bit, that guy at the end is not Albrecht Entraty, if you check the murals on the walls where Necraloyid is (where you buy the necramech parts) that's sort of a diary of Albrecht where he explains how he first encountered Wally and how he seems to be able to duplicate anyone he's been in contact with, however what "It" really is, isn't yet understood, but he's supposed to be some sort of personification of the void itself, but it'll probably be explained better in the next quests
Our boy lloydy is back!!! Here, about the grimoire, i've been experimenting with it: The grimoire is a utility weapon all around First, its nature is perfect for a primer. A weapon you use to apply status effects instead of actually dealing damage. Its something used to buff stuff that needs status effect, or used to remove armor etc. The charged attack is amazing to prime status but it needs to be recharged. It recharges passively but you can charge it faster for each hit of the normal fire, so multishot is a must, and maybe a bit of punch through. Second, this weapon has a special type of mod, called tome mod, that drops on the mirror defense in the sanctum anatomica. There are 5 canticle and 5 invocation mods, and you can equip one of each in your grimoire. I dropped 1 so far, and it gives like, 15% ability duration per enemy hit to a maximun if 60%
@@snorpus well I can't confirm that, in the warframe 1999 teaser uploaded by gamespot, in the minute 2:05 reb says "alll content creators are safe from strikes", and even during that days content creators get a copy strike
I really miss the old Raids in Warframe. Me and my friends would get on every day at reset to do all three of them for the arcanes. DE removed them from the game cause not enough people played them for the effort it took to maintain them every single patch.
I think the next story quest is going to be fully revealed at Tenocon, a convention for Warframe, around i think May. Which will take us back to 1999 and back to Arthur. And i think thier is going to be another small side quest that is coming first involving a new Warframe, and i think they said it will be goong into Stalker backstory.
I see you finally met the Real Slim Entrati Grimoire works best in builds with tome mods, but those are very rare as a drop and expensive to buy in trade. My personal favorite is using [xata invocation] which makes its secondary a means to regain energy by giving status procs with the ball, so in accordance i added multishot, fire rate and all kinds of status types Also the scene with Arthur is kind of a teaser for warframe 1999 and protoframes, the devs have already shown the other, Aoi, and namedropped a third one called Quincy
Closest content to raids is Eidolon, Profit taker and Orb mother. Its 3(technicaly 5) gigantic bosses in open worlds(profit and mother are on orb valis, eidolon on earth) with stages and specific mechanics.
The year 2000 is the year Entrati got possessed by the Wally. That why he said we’re too late. The next 1999 will be the main quest to prevent that from happening. Basically time travel. Idk how Wally works but Wally clones creatures as well. Maybe Entrati is not Wally. The one in the 1999 teaser is also a clone and the wally is directly telling us “Too late” in a mockingly way. 1999 is not a real history(of the game of course). It is the parallel universe created from Entrati traveling back in time. The giant statue(the vessel) we transferenced into was Arthur. Arthur in our timeline. In 1999 timeline he’s human Excalibur. Or maybe they are the same person. The vessels were built(or grew) in similar fashion to Excalibur umbra but using a completely different strain of the virus. They were built by Entrati to fight off Wally’s giant summons like the one we fought near the end of the quest. Tenno comforting another vessel is a direct reference to umbra, also lore related too. Tennos are the only ones who can see inside of these broken things and take away their pain. Albrecht Entrati is the grandfather of the Entrati family or the husband of the grandmother. He was the first one to ever discover the void. He created the first portal and traveled through it. But as he went inside he felt like he was being watched and when he turned back, it was his own face smiling back at him. It was Wally. He ran back out in fear telling blue girl to shut the portal down. While Wally was trying to grab Entrati, the portal closed, cutting a finger of Wally in the process. The finger was used in Zariman as power source. It was used in reliquary drive. Entrati had severe anxiety fearing if that was him that got out or Wally. Before the Whispers in the wall quest, we only knew he took away his immortality and died of old age. But that was not the case. He traveled back in time to lure Wally into the past and away from Loid, his love. Yes Entrati and Loid were in relationship. We don’t know the Wally’s intentions at the moment. So there you have it. Some explanations.
There's lore that you missed at the entrance to that new section. Where the machine imploded, along the walls are sigil marks that you can interact with and learn what they mean and more.
if you did no sidequest you'll have some much fun to enjoy! also the factions, upgrading them are stories in themselves. a whoel story of the cavia, a whole story of the people on earth, a whole story about the people on venus!
I don't know what others have been saying about stairs, but the spiral staircase in the Necralisk's room that used to be Tenno form only have a bunch of murals to their sides before you go down them that provide interesting lore that is relevant to this quest, the murals going in order from left to right. You kinda just jumped straight down the staircase and didn't check said murals on the walls before it. I do recommend listening to those murals before you start Eldin Ring if possible, maybe do another short video of you listening to them if you want. And when they speak of the Indifference, they're talking about the Man in the Wall, it's his other name so to speak.
Also u can hear a heart beat if u stand by one of the big "warframes", yes not sure if you cought that but the big one in the middle is arthur from the cutscene and they are basically big warframes hence why we could connect to it. Just like with umbra "we took away its pain" as we connected with the other big one and calmed it down.
Aslo if you go in the open area behind the big guy, you can see the shadow of wally in the bottom of the skybox. Also wallys head in the sky, and a ringtone near the edge.
24:53 no he didn't make the man in the wall BUT he's kind of the reason the man in the wall is here since Albrecht's discovered the void aka where the man in the wall lives
I'm sure someone has already posted a comment about it, but Albrecht did not build or make wally, and presumably the large statues are sort of based on what he saw in the void. Also, it's not exactly confirmed or outright stated anywhere, but the way it's been described before is that the infested have been an issue for humanity for a loooooong long time, but they more or less kept it at bay, and the orokin even made use of it for the warframe project and presumably also as a weapon. My guess from what we see is that the infested either originated around 1999-2000 (Y2K basically?), or were already a thing at the time. And as far as weapons go, the gun you used as kahl in the new war is the corinth prime, and it's a damn pump action shotgun that absolutely shreds. Not remotely meta, but still one of my favorite weapons.
Congratulations for reach the latest main story of Warframe !!! I enjoy every video you upload 😆😆 . Would love to see you do more Side quest, Eidolon Hunt, Take down Profit-Taker or Exploiter Orb or maybe go hunt for Kuva Lich and Sister of Parvos. Don't know if you already done it or not but I would love to watch them all 😆
They used to have raids long ago, they were how you got the arcanes that were in the game at that time. But once plains of eidolon released they tossed away raids and out the arcanes as eidolon hunt rewards. Raids were p neat LoR was my favorite, doing the puzzles and the big boss fight with 8 players was cool.
The concept of indifference is that love and hate are not opposites of each other as either one gives attention to the subject. Indifference is the true opposite, caring no longer for it and committing that object to nothingness.
Through out the tile sets in the labs you will encounter floating books, defeating the whispers that appear out of the books grant lore audio logs that explain all that's going on in the lab.
25:59 they actually used to have raids, but DE removed them for whatever reason. Ever since then, the community have been clamoring for the raids to make a return.
The old 8-man raids like the Law of Retribution were kinda ass and that's why they were eventually removed. Trying to heard 3 other Tenno murder-hobos is already a task in and of itself and with 7 it was just frustrating. As for clamoring for their return I have heard absolutely nothing :D
They were removed because A) they weren't really all that fun and B) They were buggy as hell and a pain to maintain. ofc, that was during old warframe, not warframe as it is today.
Let's go Lloyd, been a journey happy to have joined you on it! Hope you stick around and try your hand at making things like reacting to using new frames and weapons for the first time and just chill farming streams with some fun commentary!
Congratulations on making it all the way man. Huge fan the whole way through. Cannot wait for the next quest alongside you and to see your reactions. ❤
25:58 There used to be (2) raids with custom objectives and up to 8 player squads, however with every new update new bugs appeared that usually made them borderline unplayable, their loot was the arcanes that currently drop from Eidolons (but you could only get 1 per day) With recent updates (whispers + dante) there have been some challenging raid-like activites, namely (Elite) Deep Archimidea which you unlock after reaching rank 5 with the cavia and The Fragmented One (more specifically the secret version that requires you to do steel path and get double the required eyes)
So good news, the book ranges from pretty decent to really good depending on your frame. Its a unique weapon because it has 8 mods exclusive to it called Invocation/Canticle mods. These mods turn the book into a support weapon, but you can only equip 1 Invocation and 1 canticle mod (unless its dantes book which can use all of them). Depending on what you need and what frame you are using the book can become a weapon to support your frame, or you can build it for pure offense if your frame can support it. I actually got it for my deep archimedean one week with hydroid and it was a hard carry. It tore through level 300+ with hydroids armor strip/dmg bonus and thanks to Xata Invocation I had basically infinite energy, and since it has infinite ammo I was able to ignore the ammo debuff. It's a REALLY stange weapon you need to feel around with, but it can really compliment a build when you know how to work around it. Btw if you want to farm the mods, they drop from the mirror defense mode in the Labs on rotation C at a 5% chance per.
I dont know if you played it, but what whispers in the walls remind me of A LOT, especially thanks to the *texture of the music* Is DISHONORED2. I''m having like constant flashbacks xD almost expecting bonecharms hidden away somewhere. Heck Dishonored even has void as a source of the supernatural powers xD
If you want to learn more about Albrecht Entrati, you should read the Requiem lore entries behind Necraloid, they’re worth listening just for his voice
39:50 "But it was not their force of will, not their Void devilry, not their alien darkness. 'Twas something else. It was that somehow, from within the derelict horror, they had found a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing...... and take away it's pain." The Indifference, or as you know it, The Man In The Wall, gains strength the more pain and emptiness it can draw from mortal minds. Through whatever deal we struck aboard the Zariman, the Tenno have found a way to combat the emptiness and misery that Entity draws from. But we are tied to the Void and, through our handshake, The Indifference. Time and consciousness are playthings to the Void, and we sit in the open palm of a being that considers us nothing more than a mere plaything. Buckle up, Tenno. If you thought things were weird before, you have no idea.
I think the "stairs" you were looking for can be found at the entrance to the labs, like the place with the big key that loid opened at the very start, in there you will find the lore that many people have written in full in these comments
My fellow Britishman I wish you well ;). I'm very glad your still on your Warframe grind and still enjoying. But PLEASE I have some comments and advice especially ever since you played the New War: -Bro why was it that everytime you switched characted you NEVER meleed? Drifter, Veso, Kahl - you NEVER meleed ONCE. -When as Drifter in TNW you never properly looked after your health, why? You were on so little health so many times, got one shot, and were Shocked that you died??? -Warframe is a game that has so many implicit meanings. As a more seasoned player yo ushould be ablle to eralise more that sometimes the game is vague because you can use your brain to figure out where the next path is for example. Or learn to combo moves without being told. Or to experiment to find out new things. E.G in TNW as Drifter, you had a void gun called the 'scirocco'. You never did this cos u werer blind (one of many times) to the game teaching you that: when you shoot and then reload, the 2 little lines when the reload animation goes on appears. If you press the reload button in between the 2 lines when another line moves around - you get a charged, powerful shot. -FFS I'm so glad you finally stopped called Wally 'Rell'. That pissed me off. You legit did a quest where you were told Rell was fighting against the "Indifference" for hundreds of years. -My guy your pronunciation of names sometimes :), eg, "Kahl" was so botched back in TNW lmao. Its ok. -You may want to watch Lore videos up to the point your at. From the Orokin empire origins to TNW perhaps. Especailly about Ballas the creator of WFs. -Did you know when you equip the melee weapon, you can hold aim to block projectiles? Then if you hold aim when blocking and Then do melee - you do a new move set based around blocking.
42:52 there are a lot of questions of this. When are we going to be back in 1999? When can we play as the Proto frames? When can we fight the man in the wall?
Yes I was the one who mentioned something about the stairs. But that was all the way in the beginning of the quest. During the part where NecraLoid opened the door, you can see these giant pictures. If you interact with them, you'll gear the greatest narrated piece of lore in Warframe where it tells you about Albrecht Entrati's encounter with the Man In The Wall, which not only adds a lot of context to this quest, but also tells you why this guy is so significant.
Yeah, they use to have what would be considered raids in Warframe years ago, they removed them because they felt Warframe’s gameplay was moving past that content and they did not want to spend the time trying to keep out-of-date content balanced. It’s also essentially why Warframe’s PvP has basically been abandoned as well, although that is still available to enjoy.
No they removed them because they were very buggy, and everytime they dropped a new update, the raids broke again. So it was costing them too much time to fix them.
For explainign sake, whenever they talk about The Indifference, Wally, or the Man in the Wall, its all the same thing. Its the entity from the void. Entrati was depressed when he was the first person that went in the Void, and the Void took that on as a personality, a feeling of great indifference. Loid being shown love by Entrati stopped it at the end because that love and care is the counter to pure indifference. Same reason the Tenno can counter it since they can "Find beauty in that ugly thing", as Ballas said during Umbra's quest. Love you kept with it this long and that you still have such fun with it man!
I asked him in his last vid, he said he’s gonna continue doing WF content even if it’s just random grinds and stuff, just general progression. I really hope he uploads his first Arbitration and his journey into Steel Path
Just to let you know: Dont bother recording the quest "The Glast Gambit". It is the most uninteresting part of the entire game and honestly should just be removed.
An alternate universe/dimension where the Tenno are the bad people? I think you only need to remove Margulis from the equation. They would be the origin system's worst nightmare. Without Margulis as a mother figure, the Tenno might have remained uncontrollable void freaks.
Can I ask what mods you used on your Fulmin? I'm currently building one for the New War
Damn that blows :/. TH-cam hasnt been the best with that even though its licensed. It sucks.
Strange, considering DE clearly stated this cutscene shouldn't be flagged.
I wouldn't blame DE soo much as TH-cam and its shitty flagging/review system. (they showcased this live and Reb said to not worry about copyright strikes)
Lore context!:
The Void is a place that responds to extreme emotions--we learned this with Duviri, as created by the Drifter.
It was that from within that derelict horror, they had learned to see inside an ugly, broken thing... and take away its pain."
Many believe that Wally is.. lonely, and struggling to reconcile its lonliness, but we don't know for certain what Wally's motivations are.
As much as I hate the “power of love” cliche in 99% of media, Warframe does it so fucking well I can’t be mad.
there's gayness in this game?
Wow, thank you so much for explaining!!

Immediate consciousness is horrifying 😱
I went through all the plot revelations like: Ah, yes, Warframe stuff.
But when I tell you my jaw hit the FLOOR when I heard Nine Inch Nails
YES I LOVE INTO THE VOID SOO MUCH😭🙏
We had a deal. The deal was shook.
A little handshake, all it took!
Though from the deal the wee child ran..
Yet still, WE END AS WE BEGAN!
(as far as we know, The Man in the Wall it's like a lovecraftian entity that can poses people or "imitate" others... like the Operator and maybe Albrecht...)
BTW, you got extra lore with every standing level you gain with every faction (even the Entrati Family or the Cavia)
Yes the best!

@@pegatar u could for most of the time bc internal bleeding does cost more capacity. I only recommend it bc its more consistent
Warframe is a very optomistic game. Even when things go bad they find a way to work out it seems. Wally is pure indifference. Defeated, if only for a moment, by compassion. Breaking his hold over the vessel.
ahh the Adventures of Construct-Loid, Loid and Lloyd.. also yes the fish is voiced by Neil Newbon, aka Astarion...
The Grimoire is used as a support weapon, I recommend getting the tome mods for to the Grimoire by grinding the Mirror Defense

Chapter 1: 2:30 It's very faint but you can actually make out the phrase "Loid, I only wish that I could have been worthy of you". (you cant unhear it once you know)
We call that "forshadowing" 😂
Love this story, I'll make edits as I go as per usual ❤️
Chapter 2: one of the joys of watching someone else play through a quest is picking up on things you completely missed the first time through. (If an amount of time is known or told, I don't remember it 😢)
Chapter 3: I could explain in more detail, but too many words. 👌
Chapter 4: 25:58 fun fact, raids used to be a thing in warframe, but from what I picked up across TH-cam videos and various comments on videos in Forum posts, they kind of sucked.
Chapter 5: 30:24 Fibonacci (AKA Fishonacci), is one of my favorite VA performances, Albrecht's VA also knocked it out of the park.
It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly broken thing...and take away its pain."
The Tenno once again doing what they do best and bringing peace, caressing the one that hates them just as Albrecht did before laying in the coffin.
Thank you so much! And yes, I have looked into splitting my audio and will be workin for my next video, hopefully 😭
@@DaRealLloydy Sounds good.
Glad you're enjoying the game so much ❤️
Go to where you started the quest (where the ball thing got sucked into the ground) and interact with the pictures on the wall.
It was one of the few that I was genuinely excited to level up just to see what happened next.
shouldnt of been copywrighted on you, they literally said in a stream that it would be safe for people to stream the whole mission... most likely a false claim by some bot
that was just for streamers during tennocon
It doesn't stop the bots
They meant co-streaming Tennocon, not recording the released update. There isn't much DE can do to ''Fix it" with copyright laws.
Shouldn't have been copyrighted*
Mostly likely, but I could have appealed it, but it could have taken days for them to come back, so yee
39:46 "For it was not their force of will, not their Void Devilry. It was that from within that derelict horror, they had learned to see inside an ugly, broken thing... and take away its pain."
this is personally my favourite quest by a long way, happy you finally got to it
There's a line in the quest that bugged me then and bugs me watching this. Loid talks about the pom-2 not being "future proof" which implies that either 1999 is in their future, or that that device was just hella old.
I think he's saying it's hella old. And just poking fun at the advertising for it, and how it's not quite holding up into the far far future here.
39:46, if your wondering Man in the wall is kinda doesnt like the feeling of love, i think
anyways Whispers in the wall is the intro chapter to 1999.
Here, about the grimoire, i've been experimenting with it:
The grimoire is a utility weapon all around
First, its nature is perfect for a primer.
I dropped 1 so far, and it gives like, 15% ability duration per enemy hit to a maximun if 60%
A new type of bug... the copyright bug, because reb said thiat the song is copytight free
27:00 technically the tenno are not good
i think that only applied to streamers during tennocon
@@snorpus well I can't confirm that, in the warframe 1999 teaser uploaded by gamespot, in the minute 2:05 reb says "alll content creators are safe from strikes", and even during that days content creators get a copy strike
I really miss the old Raids in Warframe. Me and my friends would get on every day at reset to do all three of them for the arcanes. DE removed them from the game cause not enough people played them for the effort it took to maintain them every single patch.
In case you haven't seen the stair yet the stairs between the Necralisk down to the Sanctum Anatomica have "pictures" on their walls
I just love that whenever I get the feeling I want to watch another Lloydy video, you upload :D
Corrosive and radiation are the best against these enemies in my opinion radiation more so 18:50
Its been an honor to accompanyyou on this journey, I hope your channel keeps growing even after the warframe main content ends
I see you finally met the Real Slim Entrati
Grimoire works best in builds with tome mods, but those are very rare as a drop and expensive to buy in trade. My personal favorite is using [xata invocation] which makes its secondary a means to regain energy by giving status procs with the ball, so in accordance i added multishot, fire rate and all kinds of status types
Also the scene with Arthur is kind of a teaser for warframe 1999 and protoframes, the devs have already shown the other, Aoi, and namedropped a third one called Quincy
This quest rocks, I can't wait until 1999 drops
You should go out on the Orb Vallis one day and explore a little, until you find a suspicious looking cavern :)
Are you talking about deck 12 or
bro thats way too vague dont just send him on a quest like that.
Man all the caverns are suspicious looking :/
SOLARIS. UNITED.
YOU SHALL NOT BE SPARED THE ROD, AS THOSE BEFORE YOU WERE. NOT. SPARED.
HUH? Something new was added there?
THOSE robots who has a circle as their body has a weakspot/s the vial thingy on their arms break them and you insta kill or big big big dmage

Through out the tile sets in the labs you will encounter floating books, defeating the whispers that appear out of the books grant lore audio logs that explain all that's going on in the lab.
the man in the wall, wally, the indifference, the lidless eye, the vast untime, all the same thing
wait the vast untime? isn't that xaku's ult? have we been operating a bit of wally?
@@ismael8926 Nah Xaku is just Void themed.
25:59 they actually used to have raids, but DE removed them for whatever reason. Ever since then, the community have been clamoring for the raids to make a return.
They should bring them back!
25:58 There used to be (2) raids with custom objectives and up to 8 player squads, however with every new update new bugs appeared that usually made them borderline unplayable, their loot was the arcanes that currently drop from Eidolons (but you could only get 1 per day)
With recent updates (whispers + dante) there have been some challenging raid-like activites, namely (Elite) Deep Archimidea which you unlock after reaching rank 5 with the cavia and The Fragmented One (more specifically the secret version that requires you to do steel path and get double the required eyes)
"Resume your duties, *construct*" deserved to become a meme.
to beat the indifference with love
i love warframe
I dont know if you played it, but what whispers in the walls remind me of A LOT, especially thanks to the *texture of the music* Is DISHONORED2. I''m having like constant flashbacks xD almost expecting bonecharms hidden away somewhere. Heck Dishonored even has void as a source of the supernatural powers xD
If you want to learn more about Albrecht Entrati, you should read the Requiem lore entries behind Necraloid, they’re worth listening just for his voice
The computer in the lab has a lot of lore.
It's a real shame you missed the gargoyle's cry operation that went with the release of whispers. Lots of cool stuff came with that.
peak quest man Im so glad reb took over
There's a man in the wall for you the tenno and also for albrecht so at the end we're not actually seeing albrecht entrati but the void version of him
39:50
"But it was not their force of will, not their Void devilry, not their alien darkness. 'Twas something else. It was that somehow, from within the derelict horror, they had found a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing...... and take away it's pain."
The Indifference, or as you know it, The Man In The Wall, gains strength the more pain and emptiness it can draw from mortal minds.
Well, good job. You can take a break, who know when we are getting another quest.
don't forget that you have abilities
Oh well, quiet lovely the chillpop mate.
Noooo not the copy right, I remember doing this quest and loosing my shit when that transition happened😭😭😅😅
Yeah, it was cool as shit, but YT sucks.
"Mara lohk" I think it means the tenno.
The music isnt copyrighted as trent reznor (singer for nin) (the band that played the song) dont copyright their music
tell YT that, lmao
@yaboiLloydy ah I didn't realise that yt still copyrights it anyway
Early gang, i have been watching ur videos lately soo much its addicting 😂❤
About the "Raids" thing, Warframed USED to have Raids, but they were removed years ago, and I don't remember if DE ever promised to bring them back
They said maybe eventually lol
@@culturalist And how long ago was that?
@@firehedgehog1446 around a year, then they said "at the right time it might be cool" a few months ago
@@culturalist Oh, so DE hasn't forgotten about it, ok. I had assumed it was added to the pile of promises they made, and then forgot about
finally i can say this....
OLD MAN YOAI
I think the "stairs" you were looking for can be found at the entrance to the labs, like the place with the big key that loid opened at the very start, in there you will find the lore that many people have written in full in these comments
My fellow Britishman I wish you well ;). I'm very glad your still on your Warframe grind and still enjoying. But PLEASE I have some comments and advice especially ever since you played the New War:
-Bro why was it that everytime you switched characted you NEVER meleed?
When can we fight the man in the wall?
end of the year most likely. just watch the tennocon stream
*no reply even though there is a reply* HUH?!
Same, I though I had a good handle of warframe lore, and then I find out I've been playing dark sector all this time WTF 🤔😟
Finally its gay time
Dam you improved a lot since the first episode
Yes I was the one who mentioned something about the stairs. But that was all the way in the beginning of the quest. During the part where NecraLoid opened the door, you can see these giant pictures. If you interact with them, you'll gear the greatest narrated piece of lore in Warframe where it tells you about Albrecht Entrati's encounter with the Man In The Wall, which not only adds a lot of context to this quest, but also tells you why this guy is so significant.
You an still listen to them btw. If you go to NecraLoid back upstairs, the picture with the story will still be there
Shit.. Well, yes, I will go back and listen to them 😭
Yeah, they use to have what would be considered raids in Warframe years ago, they removed them because they felt Warframe’s gameplay was moving past that content and they did not want to spend the time trying to keep out-of-date content balanced.
I’m surprised you had to mute the NIN section because they said people wouldn’t get copyrighted
@Magnustopheles ah makes sense, honestly I never checked I’ve my play through got striked
The new tileset is soo cool
I asked him in his last vid, he said he’s gonna continue doing WF content even if it’s just random grinds and stuff, just general progression. I really hope he uploads his first Arbitration and his journey into Steel Path
Yesss, I wanna keep making content on this game even past the story's
Pst, read the computer documents for the lore basics!!!
The music that played when you walked in the room might have felt familiar because it was the theme for the login screen for a while.
YESS, truee
Just to let you know: Dont bother recording the quest "The Glast Gambit". It is the most uninteresting part of the entire game and honestly should just be removed.
An alternate universe/dimension where the Tenno are the bad people? I think you only need to remove Margulis from the equation. They would be the origin system's worst nightmare. Without Margulis as a mother figure, the Tenno might have remained uncontrollable void freaks.
Gonna be honest, listening to that semi-erotic chillpop while watching Arthur do very manly things in a tight suit was quite something
The lore in this game gets difficult to understand later, if you have any questions now that you're caught up to speed lmk.
@Lloydy at 5:00 try talking to the walls that open up, its got some kewl voiced lore
13:23 cool ngl!! 🙂↔️
39:35 💀lmao
Hold “o” to what?
They said in the tenno con stream that content creators dont have to worry about copy right claims with this part of the quest
that may have been just for the reveal, but YT still flagged it. it sucks.
