I wouldn’t say they are finally getting recognition…they have been getting that for a while…I would say Carats have finally woken up and improved in streaming/talking about Seventeen. We still have a long way to go but we made a significant jump last year. Everyone knows SVT has been working hard, the difference is the fan base has always been too lazy to put in the work needed to get them where they should be.

Seventeen works really hard and it took years to be recognized. Most of them know about Seungkwan being best friend with Moonbin and he was on leave for a while. They probably didn’t know Wonwoo’s mother passed away and he said he was going to brag to his mom about the ward was heart breaking.
I've read all of the comments here, and some comments mention that BTS owed an apology to seventeen, but actually, they are not... When bts getting attention back then they are too popular many branded companies want them to be ambassador and they even have to attended a lot of big awards events. Because of their popularity, other idols are being overshadowed. It's actually no one fault. Every group works really hard to raise their popularity, but just because BTS get more attention and have more fans than seventeen, they do being overlooked. Well, not to mention BTS's scandals (made by fans mostly) even make they receive more attention. We all know that once there is a really popular group, some awards event will make use of that group since they want to have more views/audiences (e.g., mama awards received less attention since what happened to exo & some of the big group no longer attended that award event such as bigbang). So, seventeen just being overlooked, which make them received the awards late. But they do deserve more of what they have now since they are known as self-produce idols. P.s. im not trying to make war between Carat and Army. We all know that BTS and Seventeen are good friends.
I don’t know why but ppl discredit bts alot, bts is also self made idols with no privileges, when they first hold theie concert,it was free and they literally requested ppl to attend them(back in 2014) they also got bullied alot by exols,got in many troubles still didn’t back up like svt.... Bts also was about to disband in 2018, they worked so hard to go in a better position and hard works pay off we can see both in svt and bts cases,, It's so injustice if ppl are this mean too bts,they win cz we armys support them, but in case of vote and streaming carats are very lazy(plz Don't mind) i actually feel this, but finally they are streaming and voting,so I'm happy..I'm an army and has lot of respect for svt infact for all self made artists!
