Hey, yeah the fx is a superb addition to the ToneX! 🏆🍿 On my playing, thanks! 🙏😋Well, I’ve been playing some guitar (frequently in periods) through the years, esp while writing for my band Embracing, and also performing some. But it’s been mostly keyboards / piano playing on my channel obviously. 😄🥳🎸
I just got my Tonex in, and as of right now, I'm just using it as a practice tool in my computer. I'm running the USB into my computer from the tonex, and I don't have anything coming out of the Outputs. With that being said, I can hear the sound coming out of my pc using the windows audio instead of ASIO in the tonex settings. What do you have plugged into your output spots? To use the ASIO drivers, does the tonex have to go into studio monitors?
Hi congrats on your ToneX, its sweet! You can run the ToneX two ways; 1. As an audio interface = Audio over USB. Set ToneX HW pedal OPERATION to ”Interface”. And (if you want) set ”USB” option to ”dual”. ToneX will now send wet amp effected signal over Channel 1, and dry over Channel 2. 2. As a standalone ”LIVE” hardware guitar pedal, that way you use the audio outputs of the toneX into audio inputs of your computer audio interface. Like you would record any other external pedals / microphones etc. via your regular audio interface. Lemme know how it goes 🥳🎸
Great video. However, I am struggling with how to set delay time on the pedal itself once my saved preset with delay has been transferred to the pedal. No matter if delay is set to sync or not on the preset. All I can see and edit on the pedal is delay power, type and mix. Is there no way to control the delay time on the pedal?
You change the tempo (tap tempo) when in tuner mode. Hold down one of the switches until the tuner turns on. Now the led of the switch will pulse to the current metronome tempo. Tap the switch to change the tempo. Did that solve your problem? I'll show this in my next video.
how are you able to tweak the preset in real time with the effects, so far the only way I've been able to hear the effects is to add the effect(s) using the home tab ( I can't hear any effects to determine if they are at the level/intensity ect...until I save to a preset
First, make sure the ToneX pedal is in bypass mode = NOT continously green lit led on the pedal. Then just load up ToneX plugin / standalone. Load up whatever stuff you need. Everything should work as in my video. Should not need to save to hear accurate levels. Still weird behaviour?
