You should still check in everyday on the mystery island cause unusuals or gleamys can still show up. Also Bibins level 6 card was clutch for me with snow.

Ooblets will probably have seasonal events for a while! I was part of the early release players and the tiny team is actively updating and listens to feedback too. You can sign up for email updates if you want a prompt when there’s an event going on. Much easier than adding yet another discord server to follow there, but that’s the best way to stay entirely in the loop.
I definitively learned a lot from watching Your playthrough of ooblets. I started doing penny's orders almost right away (so I've not really ever been low on money), and started hoarding everything that could be foraged or that could be grown. I kept doing most of what could be done in each place before moving on to a new place. So now I still have gleamies to find and the hard to get island ones, but I have crop fields that I basically don't know what to do with, cause I have so much of each crop hoarded in chests 😅
gleamies have a chance to produce oobsidian if you have them working in oobcoops at the farm! so moving the gleamies you have in the wildlands to the farm instead would be worthwhile! also the key to fast ingredient making is to put your highest level ooblets on the machines to make stuff before you go to bed, and it'll be ready by the morning
