Most charities are scams anyway, I know u guys must have seen people giving away hundreds of thousands to charities but where’s all that money go. they’d of built a city and had running water everywhere in Africa if that was the case. If you ever think of buying caviar remember they used to give prisoners lobster
before refrigerators. they gave it to prisoners because it was rancid almost imediately after it dies, which used to happen WAY before cooking, and all the prisoners where constantly sick from it. they became luxury food after we worked out that if you keep them cold and only kill them just as you're about to cook them, they don't go rancid.

I never buy it :) my husband's uncle goes fishing for various fish and when he finds a pregnant one, he gives people in the family 4oz jars of the stuff and freezes the rest. I like it on top of a nut thin cracker, with a creamy cheese (like mascarpone), and 3 hot Cheetos. Sooo good 👍

Rich people food is all about the price tag. The actual enjoyment of the meal comes second. Caviar used to be served in bars because it was so common but once it started becoming rare it was considered a delicacy. If you ask me its just overhyped fish eggs.
Same with lobster was a poor person's dish then it got popular with richer people and it got over fished and etc

The reason I really want to try caviar is because of that particular fishy~ taste and that texture. The combination with its saltiness seems delicious

We ate this frequently in Russia when it wasn't expensive at all (basically same price as a jar of vegetable spread or something similar).
The trick is to balance the salty briney taste out.
Grab a slice of sourdough or similar non-sweet bread. Unsalted butter in a thin layer on the bread. Caviar on top of the butter. Enjoy with a nice warm cup of tea.

Cavier is one of those things people expect to taste good since it's expensive when its the other way around. It's not expensive because it tastes good, it's expensive because it's hard to farm properly.
Yeah there's only a few farms who can legally do it in the world, makes sense since it's all about keeping the fish the most healthy and not over doing it with scrapping the girl fish's eggs off so much

This is basically me when I finally had $200 to buy whatever I wanted and I've always wanted to try Johnny Walker Blue Label scotch. I just needed to know.
