Back in the year of 1977. I had the honor of being on the same stage with this group. I got to know Teddy Huffman. This was on a first name basis. He sung from the heart. He was a fine christian man. It was an honor to be on the same stage with him.
I remember us singing this in Church, back in the 1970s. Our Church did this song a bit differently, but it still had the same message. It's a true Gospel Classic!

I grew up listening to Teddy Huffman and The Gems. Always a wonderful group!
Our group sang with them frequently! We would go out to eat after the concerts. I loved all these guys!!!

Teddy Huffam was only 54-years-old when he died in 1991. He was an excellent gospel singer!
