Okay so recently I've been uploading mostly just mashups with recent popular songs (peep all the Olivia Rodrigo) which is cool and all. But I like being able to make random ideas like these that don't necessarily draw a ton of attention, and rather just make them because I like them. It's been a while since I made something like this, and even longer since I made one I really liked, so I would really appreciate if this video could also get the kind of recognition that (some) of my other mashups do.
Anyway, I really like this mashup because both songs remind me of someone important to me, and the combination is sort of nostalgic. I know it's a weird mix of artists and styles and probably a bit unexpected, but personally I really loved both the concept and how it turned out. This is definitely one of my favorite mashups and one that I probably spent the most time perfecting.
