Lounges, bars, clubs.etc.. the good ones aren’t in those places and are a lot more grounded being at the mosque or hanging with their friends/family at cafes, being proactive in community programs or are just home bodies.

It's wild how deeply hypocritical they can be and it's considered normal to be so pharisaic. Another Arab guy I knew (we are just friends and he's super openminded) and I asked him about this kind of hypocrisy, he just nodded that it's seen as virtuous to point at someone's faults and hide your own instead of openly dealing with it in a psychologically healthy way.
