It's a pleasure to watch your demos. Very professional and complete! In terms of sound GX-10 is a basically reduced GX-100, as far as I understand. So your opinion on the GX100 that is also a medium quality unit (I guess?). If so, what do you think of its big brother, GT 1000, the current Boss flagship? Is it next level compared to GX10/GX100? I remember that you demoed it, too a while ago. Thx, I appreciate your opinion.
It's weird how things come back, when I started playing guitar in the 80s it was pedal boards that were in the forefront and today it's coming back to try again, tube amps and analog pedals are irreplaceable!
The problem of the GX series is that the units sound really flat. by that I mean one-dimensional, maybe boxy, maybe unnatural. Hard to describe but when you hear Fractal you'll know.
The Fractal is on a completely different level, both tone wise but also price wise. At that price point, the Boss unit still beats the sh*t out of a PodGo which is a more direct competitor.
@@Nowo78 I know that the Fractal is no comparison, but I just tried to express how flat the Boss sounds. And no, I don't think it can stand against Line6 stuff. I was at a store the first week when it came out and tested it. Completely free of any expectation and I asked the shop owner to put it away in under a minute. He was shocked, I remember hi open eyes. I know what a unit is able to or not at the first sound.

I prefer the last ToneX for a minor price
So it's a katana in a small box.
Ive noticed lately pedals are being made with interface being number 1 instead of your amp.NOT A GOOD THING.AND WE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER MODELER.
Kinda. It has more flexibility than a Katana, but it has no built-in power amp. Katana is an all-in-one solution.
No. Katana is COSM generation.
@ I heard the new Gen-3 Katana is different.
Gotta take tap dancing lessons to play guitar now. It used to be guitarists got carpal tunnel in their wrists, now it's their ankles.
*Nah!* 👎🏽
