Nice clear instructions, but how about the other steps? The side step increases the risk of losing balance, so the other steps are important for good balance at the fowl line. Also, won't the side step affect your aim? If so, won't the following steps need to compensate? (Can't help thinking I'm making this much too complicated.)
The crossover 2nd/5 approach is good! But the power step 4th/5 approach is not so much about length ...but rather about getting that step beneath the bowler ....???
you will still be long on the power step if you follow this video as the weight transfer will be screwed.. it will trigger timing compensation if during the four step delivery, you push away instead of using a ball placement.. try this if u dont believe.. push away like how u see in this video and u will notice that ur body CG with the ball is supported by the left leg and u will tip to the right due to weight transfer n body CG. most pros push away together with the 1st step in the 4 step.
This is slightly unrelated, but how can I stop sliding? I like to finish with a firm foot and the bowling alley I bowl at now has approaches that are extremely slippy, which causes me to lose slide too much and either go over the foul line or just not have a consistent approach to the foul line. How can I stop sliding?
This video is exactly what I needed to see.
Great video my man! 10/10
